This is anything but ambient black metal.
Really liked it a lot. The title track is really awesome.

How about Summoning? They're pretty decent. Also, call me a weirdo but I do like the latest Harakiri For The Sky. Happy black metal incoming!

Summoning is decent but nothing mindblowing. Harakiri for the sky is on my checklist now (which is becoming bigger and bigger)

Yeah definitely one of the best BM records of 2016. I would not say that it is just classic sounding Icelandic BM from Australia. To start with, it does not rely on exclusive use of dissonance, and the wall of sound is not as dense.

Great album

Yeah, this one has all the right elements but I found it a bit boring overall fsr. It all just sounds very borrowed
