Hoping for something much more elevated from their last album that I wasn't a big fan of. All the best!

Holy fucking shiiiiit, this is sounding really good, I didnt think it would be possible for them to come up with something this good after their last really disappointed.
Glorious, I like the sound of the guitars (though sometimes it can be a bit wallzy)

Great album, though Levitator is a bit of a drag imo

Eliran Kantor did Bloodbath's cover, he is one of the best. I can't remember who did Behemoth but it doesn't look like Kantor's work.

I've tried two speakers and one pair of headphones and to me the production sounds really muffled. Anyone else finding the same? I can't enjoy this at all...
Played the previous albums on the same systems and the production is really clear.

Behemoth's ILYAYD is using a painting by Nicola Samori.

Love the production, and I did like Nick vocals on GMF but think he sounds even better this time around. But the songwriting is abit lacking. I felt like I was in the minority to really digging GMF but this album isn't really doing it for me thus far. Will give it more listens.

Am I the only one who thinks that Nick doesn't fit in this band? I can't listen to Hypocrisy past Mikael and Peter's era.

lol I'm not even going to correct this. In actuality, Bloodbath themselves are a revolving guest side hustling project for having revisionist fun with the early Swede/ death doom classics so showing some variation isn't a bad highlight in hindsight for appeal when its idea was to be similar. Take the echo chambers of OS and Melodeath for example.
Because of the premise is not being pressured to take artistic approach seriously, ever, made consistent tightness in performance heavily appreciated, that each guest was able to focus without pressures. Even if Bloodbath is a by-product from an older style releasing by-products ever since, this absolutely by far, has the best, most effectively realistic ferocious cover art Bloodbath have ever had. Stronger and memorable more than the music here is itself.
