Definitely different comparing to previous albums. Less instruments - only vocals and some plucking (that's how they did it back in the viking days :V). Does it mean it's worse? Nah. It's...very specific. But some great stuff to listen over the campfire in winter.

If I would characterize it in one word, it would be "poor". I am a fan of "less is more", but in this situation less is nothing for Wardruna. The performance is good, but there is exceptionally lack of variety in every aspect. I actually cannot find any interest in this composition, because the pattern they recycle to add the atmosphere is not been composed in an interesting way. Disappointed.
