With the full name Chairul Efansyah, was born in the city of Banjarmasin, August 5, 1964 He knew music since junior high school and began seriously in the field by forming a band after SMEA. Together with the band, he has won various festivals in Banjarmasin and Zhelebour V Rock Festival 1989 is the culmination of his achievements because that's where he won "The Best Vocal". Eight months later Arul joined powermetal to replace the previous vocalist. Since then, Arul gave a distinctive color in the body powermetal with his voice very high and squeaky. Even with its performance, vocalist powermetal for 21 years, was dubbed "Arul, The Seven Octave".
