Eudaimony was formed in July 2007 by Matthias Jell (vocals/ex-Dark Fortress) and Marcus E. Norman (guitars/Naglfar, Bewitched, Havayoth, Ancient Wisdom). The idea behind Eudaimony was from the beginning on to create music, which reflects the band members' view on every-day life in this society: sick, disturbing and negative.

In September 2007 Jell and Norman met in Umeå, Sweden, composing the first material for Eudaimony . Short time later Jörg Heemann (drums/Secrets Of The Moon, Ex-The Vision Bleak) joined the band and in the middle of 2008 the line-up got completed by Peter Honsalek (viola & piano/Ex-Nachtreich).

With this unity, Eudaimony recorded their debut album Futile in 2013. The album got released by German label "Cold Dimensions" on November 29th 2013.

In 2014 two more members joined the hearse of Eudaimony , namely Patrik Hellström (Bass/Bloodline) and Schwadorf (Guitars, Synthesizer & Programming/Empyrium, The Vision Bleak, Sun Of The Sleepless, Noekk).

A 2nd album of Eudaimony can be expected sometime around 2015.
