Abscession are a Swedish death metal band who burst onto the scene in 2009 with their impressive demo 'Death Incarnate'. It took a while, but with Grave Offerings there is finally a follow up and real debut full-lenth by these guys. The trio mix up a heavy cocktail of strong, catchy melodies, nicely varied vocal patterns (and vocals), adding some clean (backing) vocals to the mix and a neat solo here or there, served up with thick layers of groove and a grave overall mood.
