The first edition of Open Mind Festival will be held between the 12th and 14th of August 2010 with participation from leading bands of the independent music scene. The aim of this project is to create an event based around music with a unique festival atmosphere open to various music styles - starting with rock, moving to metal, all the way to the widely understood modern music.

Many bands and stars from Poland and abroad will perform during the three day event, representing modern and classic rock, metal etc.

Amongst all the stars at the festival is one of the most colorful rock bands of all time - The Cult with their charismatic vocalist - Ian Astbury. It is this band-leader who in 1990 created the first "open program" festival - "A Gathering of the Tribes". The Open Mind Festival's ideology also relates to this very primary concept of an eclectic festival open to many different sounds.

Open Mind Festival offers multiple ways of musical expression that offer an alternative from traditional means. The festival's program will be filled in with musical workshops lead by the festival's artists, photography workshops, theatrical performances inviting participants to actively receive different forms of art, a musical kindergarten for kids where parents can actively spend time with their children, and a film overview in the cinema (a night of horror and musical themed movies).

The festival is organized by Klub Stodola. It's "open mind" ideology is also supported by Metal Storm, a media parter of the festival.
