Pacific Northwestern doom metal monolith Bell Witch will see the release of their new album, Future's Shadow Part 1: The Clandestine Gate, on April 21st digitally followed by its physical release (2LP/2CD/Cassette) on June 9. This single 83-minute long track was engineered and mixed by Billy Anderson and mastered by Justin Weis. The band have announced an exclusive appearance at this year's Roadburn Festival on April 21th where they will perform the new album in its entirety.

Seattle based doom duo Bell Witch have teamed up with dark folk elegist Erik Moggridge (guitars/vocals) of Aerial Ruin for a brand new collaboration effort, entitled Stygian Bough Volume I. The latter will be out on June 26th via Profound Lore Records. Stygian Bough Volume I was recorded and mixed by Randall Dunn at Avast Recording Co. in Seattle, WA. Funeral doomers Bell Witch are going to release a new album 2017. The band will enter the studio in March and the album is scheduled to be released in the autumn of 2017. The new album will be the first featuring new drummer/vocalist Jesse Shreibman, and according to the band's Facebook page, Shreibman is also going to play an analog organ on the album. The record will be called As Above, So Below and it will be one song divided into seven movements.
