In a recent interview with Terrie Carr of the Morristown, New Jersey radio station 105.5 WDHA, Black Label Society guitarist and vocalist Zakk Wylde confirmed that the band is in the middle of finishing up their new album, which is the follow-up to 2018's Grimmest Hits, and is tentatively due for release this November.

Special guests and support on the trek will be The Black Dahlia Murder, Alien Weaponry and Toke (on select dates). Tour will commence on September 11th in Ventura, CA, and will end one month later, on October 13th, on the other side of the continent in Jacksonville, NC.

And now for some disturbing news. According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, a former instructor at School of Rock Castle Shannon and rhythm guitarist for the heavy metal band Black Label Society between 1998-2013, pleaded guilty to sending sexually explicit messages to a 14-year-old female music school student. Nicholas Catanese, 46, of Findlay pleaded guilty to unlawful contact, corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of children before Allegheny County Common Pleas Judge Donna Jo McDaniel.
