Job For A Cowboy - Announce Studio Drummer For New Album

Death metallers Job For A Cowboy are currently writing their fourth full-length album, and the follow-up to 2012's Demonocracy album. The band will be moving forward without long time drummer Jon "The Charn" Rice who decided to leave the band but apparently on good terms. With a new album scheduled to be recorded with Jason Suecof this winter, the band has enlisted the drumming talents of Danny Walker to fill in as the studio drummer. Walker is known for his work in Intronaut, as well as having performed with Exhumed, Jesu, Phobia, Murder Construct, and more.

Kypck - To Enter The Studio

Doomsters rejoice because Kypck are about to enter the studio tomorrow to begin recording album number three. After the debut Cherno and later Nizhe, the new yet untitled opus will be released in March 2014 via Ranka Kustannus. For now, all we know is that Hiili Hiilesmaa will be producing it.

Hecate Enthroned - New Album Tracklist, Studio Report

After revealing their new album's artwork, U.K. black metallers Hecate Enthroned have recently shared the album tracklist. The follow-up to 2004's Redimus, entitled Virulent Rapture, is due on November 25th. The first in a series of video clips giving fans an insight into the recording processes of Virulent Rapture, along with the band members' personal thoughts on the making of the album, can now also be seen below.

Helevorn - Enter The Studio

Gothic doom metallers Helevorn have entered the Psychosomatic Studios in Mallorca to start the recording sessions of their third album, Compassion Forlorn. After the albums Fragments and Forthcoming Displeasures, the new album will be released in early 2014 and will comprise eight tracks. The artwork will be done by the artist Andreu Beltrán. More details should be revealed soon.

Dawn Of Azazel - Enter The Studio In January

Astarte - To Enter The Studio

After a long silence, Greek black metallers Astarte will enter the studio to record their sixth full-length album Blackdemonium for a 2014 release. The new opus will contain "9 or 10 tracks of black/death metal music with some thrash influences," according to the band. The cover artwork will be designed by Maggot Meister and will be revealed later. This is the first new material from the group since Demonized (2007).

Architects - In The Studio, New Label And Tour

UK's own Architects are currently in Gothenburg at Studio Fredman crafting their brand new album. The band just signed to Epitaph Records and also signed deals with UNFD in Australia and New Damage Records in Canada. The follow-up to Daybreaker is penciled for a spring 2014 release. In other news, Architects will be embarking on a European headline tour in support of their new record. These seem exciting times for the band.

Grave Digger - Enter Studio In January, Vinyl Reissues

After last year's Clash Of The Gods album, heavy metallers Grave Digger have recently announced that they will return to the studio from January to March 2014, which means they are working on new material. In other news, Back On Black Records, which specialises in vinyl editions of classic metal albums, also confirmed that they will release five Grave Digger albums on deluxe vinyl on October 28th.

Transatlantic - Announce New Studio Album

Progressive rock supergroup Transatlantic, featuring Mike Portnoy, Neal Morse, Roine Stolt and Pete Trewavas, has recently announced the release of their brand new fourth studio album Kaleidoscope on the 27th of January 2014. Spires - To Enter Studio

It seems like progressive death metal quartet Spires has been busy since the release of Lucid Abstractions last year.

In a recent interview, frontman Paul Sadler stated: "What album, I never mentioned an album... Oh, the one we've been prattling on about seemingly for decades? Well, it's all written, and more or less all rehearsed and ready to be recorded except one song, so once we've got that down we'll be going into the studio. Unfortunately it's a very long song (no surprises there), so it could take a little while!"
