The album was produced by the band themselves, and recorded and mixed by Adam 'Nolly' Getgood (Periphery, Devin Townsend), with the artwork once again being handled by Blacklake. Haken have shared some exciting news! First, the prog metallers announced the release of their first ever live album, titled L-1VE and scheduled for release on the 22nd June 2018. Following the release of the band's acclaimed fourth studio album Affinity, they embarked upon their 10th anniversary tour across Europe and North America. Recorded and filmed on the 13th April 2017, at the legendary Melkweg venue on the Amsterdam stop of that tour, this represents the band's first ever live document with tracks from across their discography. The band have also revealed they have started work on their fifth studio album.

The Israeli ProgStage Productions have just announced a small, exclusive acoustic Haken show in Tel Aviv, Israel. This special show was scheduled after the band's anticipated concert in Tel Aviv on June 26th sold out in a matter of only a couple of weeks after being announced. The acoustic show will be played on the day before, on June 25th, at the Gagarin Club, where only 150 tickets will be sold.
