Eyehategod - Announce New Album, New Song Online

The first details of Eyehategod's new album are here and so is the first new song! First of all, the group's first studio full length album in over 13 years will be a self-titled album and it is coming on May 27th in North America on Housecore Records, May 26th in Europe, Australia and New Zealand on Century Media Records and May 21st in Japan on Daymare Records. More importantly, the music. The first new tune available from the record is "Agitation! Propaganda!" which you can stream now through the clip below.

Eyehategod - Australian Tour Canceled, US West Coast Confirmed

New Orleans sludge masters Eyehategod have bad news for their Australian fans. The band was forced to cancel the upcoming tour in the land down under (4 dates were confirmed), because of the booking issues. The statement can be read below. However, in other, more positive news, the band confirmed several tour dates across the US West Coast region, starting today in San Diego, CA. Check them out!

Hate - Touring Europe With Kampfar In 2014

Apart from working on their new album, Polish band Hate have announced that they are taking part in the Spreading The Plague MMXIV Tour that will hit Europe in March/April 2014. The band will team up with Norway's pagan black metal horde Kampfar to bring supreme blasphemy to 16 cites of Euroland. On the tour that will start on the 28th of March in Munich, Germany, you will also see US avantgarde black metallers Velnias and Norwegian melodic black metal act Iskald as part of this tour package.

Hate - Working On New Material

It has been a turbulent year for Hate. After releasing Solarflesh: A Gospel Of Radiant Divinity in the beginning of this year (January), the unexpected sudden death of the bassist Mortifer followed in April. The band decided not to disband and continue with their work. Even more, the Polish death metallers have already began working on new material for the upcoming, tentative 2014 release.

Hate Eternal - Bassist Releasing Death Metal Christmas Album

Just in time for the holiday season, Hate Eternal bassist J.J. Hrubovcak will bring forth Death Metal Christmas - Hellish Renditions Of Christmas Classics, a twisted rendition of some of the season's darkest hymns. It was composed and produced by J.J. with vocals and artwork by brother and Monstrosity/Vile/Azure Emote vocalist Mike Hrubovcak. Eyehategod - Announce New Drummer

Two months ago, Eyehategod lost their long-time drummer Joey LaCaze who passed away. The band is now beginning to move on after a difficult period and have announced Aaron Hill as their new drummer. Hill comes by way of New Orleans' local acts Missing Monuments and Mountain Of Wizard and will have big shoes to fill.

Hate Eternal - Drummer Steps Down, Working On New Album

Hate Eternal have some good and bad news to share. The bad news is that drummer Jade Simonetto has left the band to further his education and post-music career. The good news is that the brutal death metallers are currently writing material for the follow-up to Phoenix Amongst The Ashes and are seven songs deep into the process. Hate Eternal is tentatively scheduled to begin recording in the Spring of 2014.

Eyehategod - Drummer Joey LaCaze Passes Away

Invisible Oranges broke the news last night that Joey LaCaze, drummer and one of the founders of American sludge metallers Eyehategod, has passed away. No further details have been disclosed so far and the band is yet to issue an official statement at this point. Eyehategod recently completed a tour of Europe and were preparing for a string of dates in celebration of their 25th anniversary. RIP...

Hatesphere - Reveal New Album Tracklist, Cover Artwork

After they have signed a new record deal with Massacre Records last week, Danish metallers Hatesphere now present us a complete tracklist and cover artwork of their upcoming album Murderlust, to be released on September 27th, 2013. The album will be released as standard CD as well as digipack version, which will also contain 2 bonus tracks. The cover artwork was once again made by Mircea Gabriel Eftemie, with whom the band already worked on The Great Bludgeoning and Ballet Of The Brute albums.

Hate - Autopsy Reveals Bassist's Cause Of Death

A few days ago, it was announced that Hate's bassist Mortifer had passed away and at the time the band had no idea what had caused his sudden passing. In a new update, the Polish group has now revealed what the autopsy determined as the cause of Sławomir "Mortifer" Archangielskij's death: heart rhythm disturbances. The bassist also suffered from asthma and had obstructive sleep apnea.
