US quartet Kayo Dot completed their upcoming studio record and are pleased to share first details. New output will be entitled Blasphemy and will be set free on September 6th through Prophecy Productions on LP, CD digipak, 2xCD book edition, and limited boxset. Blasphemy was co-produced by the band's frontman Toby Driver and Randall Dunn.

The eclectic project, spearheaded by composer and producer Toby Driver, was formed in 2003 by the members of the legendary Maudlin Of The Well. Their latest album was 2016's Plastic House On Base Of Sky and the band has been working on new material.

The band announced on their website that Tom Malone, will be their new drummer. The band plans to to record (with the new drummer) on august this year, for a Robotic Empire release due sometime on the fall.

The band also plans to tour the U.S. in October/November, but there are some dates in the meantime:

July 24, 2005 The Middle East, Cambridge MA, with Pelican, Big Business, and Panthers. Kayo Dot plays at 8 PM.
