Florida death metal veterans Massacre have joined forces with a new management team, Extreme Management Group, and have begun work on a new full-length record, to be released in 2020. The band would also like to welcome new drummer - Jeramie Kling (Venom Inc., The Absence, Goregäng) and Taylor Nordberg (The Absence, Goregäng) on guitars. In addition, this album will be the first to feature original bassist Michael Borders, as well as its first recording in 23 years to feature original vocalist Kam Lee (ex-Death).

Massacre Records have just announced the signing of Jonne, which was formed by Jonne Järvelä as a solo project which soon morphed and developed into a full band. From starting out as a solo idea, it fast grew into a real band, accompanied by 9 other musicians from the Finnish folk and metal music scene, featuring members of Amorphis, Shape Of Despair, Wabanag and Oceanwake. Jonne's self-titled album is set to be released on July 24th, 2015 via Massacre Records.

During the band's history, Ancient Rites overcame several blows of fate, including band members passing away or bad experiences with promoters and labels. But all this didn't stop the band from continuing their journey. The group is returning and their upcoming sixth studio album Laguz marks a new chapter in the band's history and is the first since 2006.

Things aren't looking good for Massacre. The Death Dta Tours has informed that due to several factors, the death metallers will not be taking part in the Symbolic 20th Anniversary European tour in late February/March 2015. Unfortunately, Massacre also had to cut their participation in the Swamp Leper Stomp '14 tour with DTA, Obituary and Rivers Of Nihil by one show. Bassist Terry Butler and vocalist Ed Webb issued joint statements indicating that they have left the band.
