13+ years following the release of their last full-length album Parasignosis, Vancouver, British Columbia-based Mitochondrion have prepared in cloistered meditation to ascend the peak and proselytize the harrowing word once more with their new full-length album Vitriseptome. A double-album culminating in 86-minutes of alchemical death metal split into 17 tracks will see the light on November 1st via Profound Lore Records. Recorded and tracked between 2017 and 2022 and mixed/mastered by Xavier Berthiaume.

Mitochondrion's brand new 7 inch split, In Cronian Hour, with Auroch is now available to stream in full online. You can listen to this beast now via Bandcamp and get it digitally. In Cronian Hour was mastered by Colin Marston and features artwork on a gatefold jacket by Cold Poison. Hellthrasher Productions expects to ship it in Europe around June 15th. Dark Descent plans to begin shipping from the U.S. around June 27th. Both songs are also available below.
