36 Crazyfists - Update From The Band

US nu metal band 36 Crazyfists has issued the following update: "After much thought and discussion in the 36CF camp we have decided to break the silence and address some of the concerns that have been posted on our page."

"Firstly, our brother Thomas Noonan has decided to step away from the band. I have played music with T for over 20 years. He is one of my best friends so he will be sorely missed but we understand as we get older (and I mean Older), life takes on new meanings. So with his decision, we wish him a tremendous amount of success in his newest adventures."

French black metal outfit Temple Of Baal has uploaded a rare track, " Undead Soul", taken from the band's Satanas Lux Solis rehearsal tape, originally self-released in 1999, in only 200 handnumbered copies. The song can be streamed at the band's Soundcloud and it was the very first track composed for the band.

On May 22, world famous Finnish metal superstars Children Of Bodom will release Holiday At Lake Bodom (15 Years Of Wasted Youth), a very special CD+DVD career retrospective in celebration of the band's 15th Anniversary. The release will spotlight specially selected songs from every one of the band's critically acclaimed albums (1997's Something Wild, 1999's Hatebreeder, 2000's Follow The Reaper, 2003's Hate Crew Deathroll, 2005's Are You Dead Yet?, 2008's Blooddrunk and 2011's Relentless Reckless Forever) plus newly recorded (and undeniably fun) cover songs and detailed liner notes penned by the members of COB themselves. The DVD portion of the package will include "candid touring and backstage footage from around the world" plus the never before seen music video for Relentless Reckless Forever's "Shovel Knockout".

"Mauled To Death", a re-recorded song from US death metallers Autopsy is now streaming online at Pitchfork. The song is featured on the band's new compilation of re-mastered classics and rarities entitled All Tomorrow's Funerals, released on February 20th via Peaceville Records. All Tomorrow's Funerals contains re-mastered versions of all Autopsy's past EP's from Retribution For The Dead to The Tomb Within, plus four new tracks.
