Running Wild - New Album Title Announced
Running Wild have announced that their new album will be called Resilient. It is scheduled for release in October 4th in Germany and October 7th in the rest of Europe via Steamhammer/SPV. The exact US release date will be revealed soon, but the album has definitely been scheduled for release in America this October. The band has also shared some song titles.

Running Wild - New Album Coming In October
After releasing Shadowmaker last year, German heavy metal veterans Running Wild will release the second album this year since they reformed, more precisely in October. The new studio album is still untitled as of now and was initially planned for September 2013 but had to be pushed back. The good news is that you can expect new music from the band to be released worldwide on Steamhammer/SPV.

Running Wild - Unveil New Album Tracklist And Cover Art
After [url= http://www.metalstorm.net/events/news_comments.php?news_id=14919 ]revealing the title[/url] of their upcoming album, German heavy metallers Running Wild have now unveiled Shadowmaker's tracklist and cover art, which can be seen below. The artwork was created by Rock N' Rolf and Jens Reinhold (Evergrey, Freedom Call, Virgin Steele), who also will do the complete artwork for all configurations available. Rock'n'Rolf - Ex-Running Wild Frontman Has A New Track Online
As you all know Running Wild broke up in April last year. But it seems that the now ex-frontman, Rolf "Rock'n'Rolf" Kasparek, is still making music. You can check out a new song, entitled "Burning Wheels", online at this location. The music player is at your upper right, where you can listen to "Burning Wheels" featuring the vocals and guitar of Rock'n'Rolf.

Deadlock - Working On New Album, Running Wild Cover Online
German metallers Deadlock have issued the following update on their MySpace blog:
"Hey people,
We are in the final steps of the pre-production for our new album and can't wait to record the new stuff! At the moment we work hard on the last fine-tuning of the songs but be sure that the yet unborn child will rock your ears off! Due date for the baby will be in early 2011.

Wild Knight - Running Wild Cover Song Up
The Running Wild cover song "Tsar", performed by the Wild Knight (X Wild/Running Wild side project) band has been posted online at this location. The song has been mixed by Stefan Kaufmann of U.D.O..
The song will be released on the forthcoming "ReUnation - A Tribute To Running Wild" compilation (Remedy Records), and is actually the first official recording of Wild Knight - the brand new band, featuring the original X-Wild singer Frank Knight, and the legendary Running Wild guitarist Majk Moti. Band line up is completed by: Rob Ronson (guitar), Simon Strangeway (bass) and Robin Hazelhurst (drums).

Running Wild - New Tribute Album On The Way

Jens Pohl, the webmaster for German metal legends Running Wild, has issued the following update: "it's been already almost four years since "the revivalry - a tribute to Running Wild" hit the light. Soon after that, its success began to grow progressively and it significantly led to the idea that a tribute album brought to a different level should come out, especially by bringing cover songs from the newer albums by Running Wild. And this time it is going to be like this!".
The second, yet-untitled tribute album will contain exclusively cover songs from "The Rivalry" (1998), "Victory" (2000), "The Brotherhood" (2002) and "Rogues En Yogue" (2005) and is scheduled to be released tentatively in fall this year. The artwork will be done by romanian graphic artist Costin Chioreanu, who worked for bands like Absu, Centinex, Demonical, Negură Bunget, Thunderstorm and many others. One of the first confirmed bands, who will be part of this album is Crystal Viper, who will record its own version of the "Libertalia" song."

Running Wild - Best-Of Compilation Announced
Veteran Heavy Metallers Running Wild have announced that they will be releasing a best-of compilation album. The album will be callled 'Best Of Adrian' and will be released on the 24th November. The compilation will have songs from Running Wild's last nine years, which is while the band has been with G.U.N. Records.

Gates of Metal: Running Wild out, Stratovarius in!
Stratovarius will replace Running Wild at the Gates of Metal festival.
Late last night it was confirmed that the Finnish power metal band will come to Hultsfred in the end of July.
- Stratovarius is a very good band, it feels nice to have a replacement act of this size confirmed with so short notice. This is an exclusive appearance in more than one way. It's Stratovarius only show in Sweden this year and it might be their last show in Sweden ever. Nobody knows the future of Stratovarius.
Late last night it was confirmed that the Finnish power metal band will come to Hultsfred in the end of July.

Running Wild - Bassist discusses upcoming album
RUNNING WILD bassist Peter Pichl gave a lengthy interview to the band's official web site in which he briefly discussed the group's upcoming studio album.
"I can't tell you anything yet besides that it's going to be out summer," Peter said. "Rolf is still writing songs. He wasn't able to start his work on the album as early as scheduled, because it took a bit longer to build up his own studio. But he keeps on writing songs and about 20 or so are ready for recording. I'm also really looking forward to them (as much as all of you!). Rolf is really open-minded concerning ideas of the other band-members. If I should have some good ideas (which is sometimes the case), I am going to share them with Rolf, maybe he likes them as well. But I will not be disappointed if he doesn't."
