Soilwork - Welcome New Bassist
Soilwork have announced a line-up change. The melodic death metallers, who are about to release a new album called The Ride Majestic, have a new bassist. As of this new album cycle, the band is joined by new bassist Markus Wibom, formerly of Helsingborg hardcore group Hearts Alive. Wibom replaces longtime bassist Ola Flink, who has amicably left the group to focus on other endeavors.

Soilwork - Announce New Album Details
Another new album is coming courtesy of melodic death metallers Soilwork! The Sweden-based unit has announced details regarding their forthcoming 10th studio album, called The Ride Majestic. The new album will hit stores worldwide on August 28th, 2015 via Nuclear Blast Records. Discover the cover art illustrated by Róbert Borbás (Grinddesign) below as well as other important details. Soulfly - Confirm Tour With Soilwork, Decapitated
Soulfly just announced that they will embark on a North American headlining tour starting on September 30th in Los Angeles. The band will be supporting their upcoming vicious new release Archangel, which was produced by Matt Hyde (Slayer, Children Of Bodom) and will be released on August 14th via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. Joining them on this epic campaign are Swedish melodic death metal visionaries Soilwork, Polish technical death metallers Decapitated, and newcomers Shattered Sun. No word yet on who will replace bassist Tony Campos.

Back in March 2014, Soilwork performed a special show at Circus Club in Helsinki, Finland. Now they have announced the release of their anticipated first ever live DVD/Blu-ray, Live In The Heart Of Helsinki on March 13th, 2015 through Nuclear Blast Records. Soilwork - Singer Suffers Back Injury, Cancel Rockharz Festival Show
Bad news from the Soilwork camp. The Swedes are forced to cancel their gig at this year's Rockharz Open Air (in Ballenstedt, Germany) due to a serious back injury of their singer, Björn "Speed" Strid. This decision was a hard one to make, especially since it is the second time in a row after last year's forced cancellation.

Vagos Open Air 2014 - Opeth, Soilwork And More Announced
The Portuguese festival Vagos Open Air 2014 will take place at Quinta do Ega in Vagos, from August 8th-9th, 2014. After announcing the first confirmations Kreator and Epica, the organizers now confirm Swedish bands Opeth and Soilwork for the festival. Joining these bands will also be Murk, a Portuguese band that just released the EP Tyrants Of Decay.
