Hatebreed - Finish Work On New Album

American hardcore group Hatebreed has completed work on its forthcoming new studio album which will be released in January, 2013 via Razor & Tie in North America/Canada and Nuclear Blast in Europe and various additional international territories. The new album will be the band's sixth official album to date, and the follow up to Hatebreed's self-titled album and also their covers album For The Lions (both released in 2009).

The Swedish heavy metal quartet that is Sister Sin has premiered a brand-new song entitled "Hearts Of Cold", available for streaming exclusively at Noisecreep.com. PowerWorld - Recruit New Vocalist, New Album Update

It's been the perfect surprise: the German metallers PowerWorld have enlisted American vocalist David Reece (Accept, Bangalore Choir) to replace Andrew "Mac" McDermott, who recorded the vocal parts on their second album Human Parasite in 2010 and sadly passed away in August 2011. Rumours that interims shouter Michael Bormann, who helped out on PowerWorld's tour with Axel Rudi Pell, would sing on the upcoming album, have proved unfounded.

Death - Spiritual Healing Reissue Coming In November

Relapse Records will continue their Death reissue campaign with the landmark album Spiritual Healing, originally released in 1990. The Spiritual Healing deluxe reissue is set for a November 20th North American release date, November 23rd in the Benelux / Germany / Finland, and November 26th in the UK and rest of world. The label also released a remastered version of the track "Living Monstrosity", which can be streamed below.

After a successful two-year run with the current line up, Thin Lizzy have made a decision to not release a new album under the Thin Lizzy name out of respect to Phil Lynott. The band will be touring in Europe on November/December and this will be the last regular touring as Thin Lizzy as well.

The band has however posted a sample of the album art created by Krag Prxzm. The first one will probably be featured at the front of the LP version and the second one will be featured inside the album.

Mass Infection - New Album In The Works

Judging by the news from Comatose Music, it looks like Mass Infection, the Greek brutal death metal band, has completed writing material for a new album. The band is scheduled to enter studio soon to commence recording. The brand new album entitled For I Am Genocide will be the band's third full-length album and follow-up to The Age Of Recreation, which was released back in 2009. For I Am Genocide will be released on Comatose Music next year.

Saturnus - New Album Release Date And Tracklist Revealed

Danish death/doom metal band Saturnus has revealed some new details about their long-awaited upcoming release Saturn In Ascension. The band's fourth album will be released on November 30th, 2012 through Cyclone Empire and the full tracklist can now be seen below. The digipak version will also include the bonus track "Limbs Of Crystal Clear", taken from their first demo tape in 1994.
