The time has come: In March 2009 the Austrian Black Metal legends Dornenreich will tour in Metal line-up for the very first time since 2001. To present their DVD "Nachtreisen" ("Nocturnal Journeys") and as a herald of their forthcoming studio album "Flammentriebe" ("The Urge of the flame") Dornenreich will debut songs of this album and they will play numerous songs of their 13-year history on this much longed for tour.

Dornenreich's friends Agalloch will join this special journey, which will be the only European Tour for Agalloch and their unique "Cascadian Dark Metal" in 2009. It will be Agalloch's last tour supporting "Ashes Against The Grain".

Mely, an Austrian Melodic-Metal-Band, will be a part of this tour as well and they will perform their melancholic hymns passionately.

With "This Is Who We Are", As I Lay Dying steps into new territory by releasing their first ever DVD consisting of a 3 DVD set produced and directed by Denise Korycki (Cannibal Corpse "Centuries of Torment" DVD) that provides viewers with live performances and a complete As I Lay Dying audio/visual history.

"We regret to say for the fans that after 7 years of playing together out bassist Gábor Őri left the band. That is also our first line-up change since 2001. He quit in friendly way by mutual consent. We would like to thank him also in this way for his great efforts, energy, time and money he put in this band. He was a real character in Casketgarden, I think.

On our next gig in Győr, Hungary on March 13 (with Escadron, Galadriel, Endless River) it seems we will play without bass, but we've already found a guy for the bass postition, he is learning the songs at the moment. He will play first on our gig in Leoben, Austra, on March 27."

Marco Hietala talks about becoming the vocalist for Sapattivuosi: "I wanted to join Sapattivuosi cause for me it's almost like a cultural act. I mean the songs are perhaps the best in the world and if by doing this I can get even one younger metalhead to go and buy remastered versions of "Heaven and Hell" or "Mob Rules", I consider my job done!"

Firstly we play Belfast for the first time in 18 years at The Spring & Airbrake on Friday 28th August. Then on Saturday 29th August we head South to play at the Low End Festival in Waterford.

Fuck! It's gonna be a banging weekend, as always when we hit Ireland. It really doesn't seem like 18 years since we last played Belfast, we're really looking forward to getting back there once more, we have so many awesome memories of our previous visits, all of which were totally insane from start to finish. This will be our first time in Waterford - Southern Ireland, which is gonna be real cool and i'm sure we'll be meeting up with lots of our drinking partners down there too haha. Again so many fantastic & crazy memories from our many visits to Dublin, Cork and Sligo. French black metallers Temple Of Baal will enter the studio in April to record the long awaited album "Lightslaying Rituals", for a release date around October via Agonia Records.

The album will be recorded in Hybreed Studios with Andrew Guillotin (responsible for the sound on Glorior Belli's "Manifesting The Raging Beast" album and Temple Of Baal's split EP with Aosoth, among many others). The visual aspect will be done by and Vertigo Photography. More info to follow soon.
