Kreator - Enter The Studio In July

German metallers Kreator have issued the following update:

"Kreator will enter the Titonus studios in Berlin on July 20th to record the highly anticipated follow up to their 2005 release "Enemy Of God".

For the yet untitled album the band will be working with German top producer Moses Schneider.

"The pre-production in our rehearsal studios went really smooth" says bandleader Mille Petrozza. "Moses´s way of working with bands takes place more on an emotional then on a technical level, wich means the album will sound very raw and direct. We´re trying to capture Kreator´s live energy and will be using nice vintage analogue equipment for the recordings this time. Expect a massacre!"

The release date for the album, which will be mixed by Colin Richardson (Machine Head, Slipknot, etc) in London, will be January 2009, followed by an extensive world tour. Stay tuned for more details, a complete re launch of the Terrorzone and studio reports soon!"

The Project Hate MCMXCIX - Coldworker Guitarist Steps In

Guitarist Petter S. Freed has left The Project Hate, the Swedish band featuring vocalist Jörgen Sandström (ex-Entombed, Grave), guitarist Lord K. Philipson (God Among Insects, ex-Leukemia), bassist Michael Håkansson (Engel, ex-Evergrey), vocalist Jo Enckell (Ignorance Bliss) and drummer Daniel "Mojjo" Moilanen (Relevant Few, Dracena, Runemagick, Lord Belial, Engel). New guitarist is Anders Bertilsson, known from Ruin and Coldworker.

Commented Petter S. Freed: "I've had lots of pleasant musical moments this far in my life. Many of them have been being locked up in a 200-square-foot flat with K. The magic that went down between 2002-2008 in that flat is something I will always look back at with a smile."

"So, why quit? It's simple, I just don't feel like doing it anymore. I've lost the TPH vibe somewhere. I don't know why, and I don't know where. But it's fuckin' gone. From the inside, I can say that the future for TPH is brighter then ever, the new stuff sounds demonic and K is pumped as usual to bring domination."

Commented Lord K. Philipson: "The choice was obvious. Anders and myself accidentally found out about a year ago that we work very well together, one thing led to another and all of a sudden we were writing material for The Project Hate MCMXCIX. And since Mazza didn't show much interest in being a part of it, we naturally continued writing together. And continued. And continued. Until one day we realized that we had actually completed 7 songs. 7 tunes that sound better than anything we have ever done in the past, and fuck knows we have done some fantastic shit. So, it was a no-brainer to ask Anders to join The Hate as he pretty much already was in the family."

The full lengthy statements by Petter S. Freed, Lord K. Philipson and Anders Bertilsson can be found here.

Iced Earth - New Single Widget Online

A widget for Iced Earth's forthcoming single "I Walk Among You" can be found at this location

The new single and proceeding full-length studio album mark the return of longtime frontman, Matt Barlow to the band who's dark and sinister tones are the perfect fit to narrate the intense and viscous annihilation of mankind set in motion with the birth of the story's main character, "Set Abominae", in "Something Wicked Part II". The single will allow fans to get a glimpse of the bright future for the band, and the perhaps not-so-bright future for humanity as we now know it. The single will feature 3 songs, an exclusive version of the song "I Walk Alone" and a few tracks from "Framing Armageddon (Something Wicked Part 1)" with new vocal performances by Matt Barlow.
Due to the re-tracking of the lead vocals these tracks have been remixed and remastered. There will be an iTunes exclusive version of the single "I Walk Among You" that features "A Charge To Keep" which has also been re-sung by Matt, remixed and re-mastered.

The full-length studio follow-up to "Something Wicked Part I" is due for release in fall of 2008 and it will be released by Steamhammer/SPV.

Sanctity - Three New Members

The following Sanctity update by original members Jeremy London (drums) and Zeff Childress (guitar) was posted on the band's MySpace page:

"Hey guys, this is probably long over due. So here is the rap about whats been going on with us. WE DID NOT BREAK UP!!! Yes we are still together. Basically to make a long story short Jared had a baby and decided to step down as our singer/guitar player. Derek as well decided to leave for his own personal reasons, there was no bad blood with anyone, those guys are our brothers and we had a good run with them. So now for the future of Sanctity, WE have three new members Scott Smith on bass, Zach Jordan on rythem gutar, and Nate Queen filling the shoes of Front man, we will have new pics up soon for everyone to see as well as some new songs once we are done. Zeff and I have never been happier with a lineup before, it's sad to see the guys go, but it's inspiring to have these new guys with us. We can't be happier with the response and support we have had from everyone so far. Make sure to stay updated with all our new stuff."

Vision Divine - Former Vocalist Returns

Italian metallers Vision Divine have issued the following update:

"We are very happy and proud to finally announce that Fabio Lione Rhapsody Of Fire] joins Vision Divine Family again. He's best natural choice for us, and first person we thought about it, even 'cause Fabio is a wonderful singer and a very special friend. Fabio with Olaf created Vision Divine 10 years ago, he wrote wonderful melodies for first 3 band's albums (from the 1st "Vision Divine" up to the high acclaimed "Stream Of Consciousness"). Just to be clear, Fabio is fully involved with the band, not as session man but as real part of the band, including recording sessions, live shows and tours.

We really like to apologize with you to taking such a longtime to let you know our choice, but we wanted to follow all this stuff properly without any gaps and taking time to plan band's future. So, Fabio Lione, will be on stage with Vision Divine starting from June 20 and he's already working to our new album, which recordings are scheduled starting from Aug 11th. We know that each time this band has a change of line up there many roumors about it and mostly people could think if its' right decision or something like that... But as always we will let facts talk, and our band life gets proof that we allways try to take best decision to grow up as artists and as persons. And at last.. we really like to spend some words for you guys who supported us in this time, we're very striking about your emotions and your great friendship around the world. We really like to dedicate our new album to you who continue to trust in Vision Divine."
