Forgotten Tomb - New Album Coming

Forgotten Tomb have been working on a new album and the recordings started back in December. The successor to Hurt Yourself And The Ones You Love released in 2015 is said to be released this year. However, frontman Herr Morbid got seriously injured in an accident recently and the recording sessions were postponed and all shows cancelled.

Wintersun - Announce New Studio Album For 2017

The teasing/trolling seems to be over for Wintersun as their label Nuclear Blast Records just announced the release of their new album in 2017. The masters of melodic symphonies are finally back. In 2017, almost five years after the release of their Time I creation, the band announces the completion of the recording of their upcoming third studio album. On this yet untitled record, the Finns alongside songwriting master Jari Mäenpää "once again break the boundaries of metal and add a new and majestic twist to the history of music."

Pallbearer - Sign To Nuclear Blast, Unveil New Album Details

Pallbearer have major news to share today! Nuclear Blast Entertainment just announced the signing of the Arkansas progressive doom quartet for the territories of UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Pallbearer can also reveal today that their highly anticipated forthcoming third record titled Heartless is due for a March 24th, 2017 release. Heartless will be released via Nuclear Blast Entertainment in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand and via Profound Lore in North America.

Horizon Ablaze - Recording New Album

After the writing sessions, Norwegian death metallers Horizon Ablaze are currently in recording mode. The band has been in Strand Studio and the recording is almost done! 2014's Dødsverk was the band's last album. Not many details are known so far about the next album but Kjell Åge Meland will be doing the artwork for it. Kjell Åge did the art for the previous records Dødsverk and Spawn.

Suicide Silence - Reveal New Album First Details

Deathcore act Suicide Silence recently revealed the first details of their new album. The opus will be self-titled and the song titles have been unveiled now. The self-titled record will see a February 24th release date via Nuclear Blast and will also be the band's second album since the death of vocalist Mitch Lucker. Eddie Hermida stepped in as their frontman and Suicide Silence will reportedly feature 70% clean vocals.

Vektor - Three Members Leave, Band To Continue

The end of the year hasn't been kind to thrashers Vektor. After releasing the excellent Terminal Redux album this year, three members of the band, guitarist Erik Nelson, drummer Blake Anderson and bassist Frank Chin have quit the group, leaving guitarist/vocalist and founding member David DiSanto all to himself. The frontman vows to continue.
