Sirenia - Reveal New Singer

As promised, Sirenia just revealed their new lead singer. And she is... Emmanuelle Zoldan. And not Liv Kristine as some might have guessed/hoped for. Emmanuelle Zoldan isn't exactly new to the band as she has been cooperating with them since their second album An Elixir For Existence as part of the choir. From now on, she fronts the band and can be heard on the band's forthcoming new album, Dim Days Of Dolor.

Alissa White-Gluz - Signs Solo Deal With Napalm Records

Alissa White-Gluz is going solo! The Arch Enemy front woman created an entity dubbed simply Alissa and her brand new solo project has now been worldwide signed by Napalm Records. White-Gluz remains firmly installed in her role in Arch Enemy. Alissa is more of a musical collective, led by White-Gluz and featuring contributions from her wide network of talented friends. An album is already scheduled for 2017 and tour dates will follow around the album release as well.

Saor - New Song Available For Streaming

As recently reported, Saor are soon to unleash their second album, Guardians. Set to be released on November 11th by Northern Silence Productions, the album follows the well-received debut, Aura. Skyclad - New Album Coming In 2017

Skyclad has a new label. The legendary folk metallers have joined forces with French label Listenable Records. Eager fans will be pleased to know that the material that the band has been working on will be released next year as a full-length record. Their last album came out in the distant year of 2009, In The... All Together. Skyclad's yet unnamed first album on Listenable Records is scheduled for a release in Spring 2017. It will be the band's 13th studio album and marks the return of guitarist Dave Pugh to Skyclad's line-up as a permanent member.

Wovenwar - Reveals New Album Details, New Song

Wovenwar will release a successor to their first self-titled album on October 21st via Metal Blade Records. More aggressive and fluid, Honor Is Dead was written with contributions from all members, while the music for Wovenwar was mostly written before vocalist Shane Blay joined the band. The results speak for themselves, capturing a group that sounds truly unified, and hungry. The Dillinger Escape Plan - Announce Final European Tour

The Dillinger Escape Plan just announced a run of shows to take place in early 2017, their final European tour. The New Jersey outfit recently announced they'll go on indefinite hiatus following the tour cycle for upcoming sixth album, Dissociation, which is due out on October 14th via guitarist Ben Weinman's Party Smasher Inc. label. The end is near, so go and bid them farewell.

Enslaved - To Release 'The Sleeping Gods - Thorn'

Enslaved just announced a new release, but it isn't exactly a new album. The Sleeping Gods - Thorn will drop via By Norse Music on November 11th, and it will feature rare and experimental material from 2010/2011, collected for the first time as a full-length album. Costin Chioreanu of Twilight 13 Media (Roadburn Festival, Opeth, Darkthrone, At The Gates, etc.) once again did the new layout, including new illustrations.

Insomnium - Fourth New Album Trailer Released

The Finns Insomnium have delivered another trailer which presents Winter's Gate, their upcoming album. This fourth part is about the book that will come with the record. The album will be released very soon on September 23rd via Century Media Records. It is built around a short story, "Winter's Gate" ("Talven Portti" in Finnish), written by vocalist and bassist Niilo Sevänen. You can also hear more excerpts of new music from the opus, a concept album which will feature one 40-minute long track.

Persefone - Announce New Album

Persefone, the band from Andorra, just announced that their fifth album will be released on the 24th of February 2017 and will be called Aathma. The successor of Spiritual Migration will contain 10 new songs and it's mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street. The artwork is once again created by Travis Smith. Also, Persefone has announced the 2017 European Aathma tour.

The festival will happen in Austria's capital on Saturday 8th of April 2017 and the Arena Wien - one of Vienna's most renowned venues - will get very loud. Focusing on thrash/death/black metal on two stages, with 15 international and national bands, Eindhoven Metal Meeting's little brother is born. The first bands have already been announced.
