Mean Man - New Video Online

Former W.A.S.P. guitarist Chris Holmes formed his solo band Chris Holmes in 2012 and released the album Nothing To Lose that same year. In 2015 he changed the name of the band to Mean Man and relocated from Los Angeles to France. Three French guys joined in ranks with Pascal Bei as bassist, David Amore as drummer and Thomas "Tom" Cesario as second guitarist. The band's latest album Shitting Bricks was out on the 2nd of May 2015. You can see a new video from the album on the YouTube player below.

Michael Schenker's Temple Of Rock - DVD On The Way

Michael Schenker's Temple Of Rock will be filming the Madrid show on 19th November 2015 at Joy Eslava for a live DVD/Blu-ray to be released in early 2016. There will be some filming for the DVD/Blu-ray at the Mannheim, Alte Seilerei, show on the 22nd of October 2015 as well, in Germany. Stay tuned for more details on that.

Saxon - New Lyric Video Online

British heavy metal legends Saxon already revealed one official video "Battering Ram" a couple of months ago. The band now shares a new lyric video for the song "Queen Of Hearts", which can be seen down below. It comes from band's upcoming studio album, Battering Ram, out on October 16th through UDR Music.

Spiders - New EP On The Way

Spiders' new EP Why Don't You is set to be released on October 16th via Reaktor Recordings/Spinefarm Records. It will be available digitally and as a 10-inch vinyl. Why Don't You was produced by Niels Nielsen and mastered by Thomas Eberger at Stockholm Mastering. The release contains two brand new songs and one cover. Cover artwork was done by Markus Eichelmann.

Zierler - To Release Debut Album

It has been almost a decade since Beyond Twilight's last album, but the band's mastermind Finn Zierler has been busy. His side-project, called simply Zierler, is finally releasing the long-awaited debut album. ESC will be out on October 16th via Vanity Music Group. Alkerdeel - New Album Announced, Tracklist Revealed

Good news for Alkerdeel fans! According to the band, the new album was already recorded and will be mixed in early November at Boma Studio. The mastering duties will be handled again by Tom Kvålsonic from Strype Audio. The record, still untitled, is expected to be available in the spring of 2016. As of now, you can start discovering the album below, with tracklist and possible artwork already unveiled.

Outre - Ink Deal With Debemur Morti Productions

Debemur Morti Productions has recently announced the signing of the Polish-based black metal horde Outre. Formed in 2012, the band began working on their sophomore full-length album, which is now tentatively scheduled for a late 2016 release. Before that, in the coming weeks, the outfit will release a split album with Barshasketh via Third Eye Temple/Godz ov War/Blut & Eisen.

Redemption - Unveil New Album Details

After three months of silence, Redemption finally revealed some news concerning their new record, announced in July. The band's sixth studio album will be titled The Art Of Loss and will be released worldwide in early 2016 via Metal Blade Records. It will be one of Redemption's longest albums, clocking in at over 70 minutes.

Paradise Lost - New Concert Film On The Way

Paradise Lost have a new live album/concert film on the way. Symphony For The Lost was recorded at the Ancient Roman Theatre of Philippopolis in Plovdiv, Bulgaria and is set for release on 20th November via Century Media Records! This show was special as it featured the Orchestra of State Opera Plovdiv and Rodna Pesen Choir. It was filmed in September 2014. Have a taste of what you can expect below.

Abbath - Two Live Session Videos Unveiled

After the video for the new song "Fenrir Hunts" was released recently, the newly formed black metal band Abbath have now shared a live video for ''Warriors'' which is an I cover. Fans of Immortal and Abbath might be familiar with I, another band from the Norwegian guitarist/vocalist. But there is more from Abbath to hear. It's the video for Immortal's "Nebular Ravens Winter". Both songs are from a live session recorded in September 2015.

In short, Giant Squid is taking a long break. But the band might also never return with no plans for a new album on the horizon.

Nunslaughter - Drummer Jim Sadist Dies

American musician Jim Konya, who was also known as Jim Sadist, Malcolm Judas Anthony and other nick names, has sadly recently passed away. He had suffered a stroke recently. He was surrounded by his loved ones and lost a prolonged fight that began following a debilitating stroke that felled him last month. Jim's ordeal reached its apex on September 27th, when he suffered another, more severe stroke while recovering from the first. His condition continued to worsen. The decision was made to take him off life support on October 7th. He was 44. R.I.P.
