Venomous Concept - Join Season Of Mist, New Album Coming

Venomous Concept are still active. The international grindcore punk "supergroup" will release its next record via their new label Season Of Mist. Finally and after too long of a quiet spell, the band decided that it was time for more music. They got together with a bunch of ideas, which they had recorded in demo form here and there, on tour, and in various rehearsal studios. The grinders recorded a new album during 2014, which sees the band continue in their trademark hardcore punk styles - with the added bonus of compositions by Lilker and Cooke.

My Dying Bride - New Album Details, Coming In September

My Dying Bride's newest opus and 12th full studio album is coming and will be called Feel The Misery, set for release on September 18th via Peaceville Records. With crushing epic doom spanning eight tracks, and featuring the return of original guitarist Calvin Robertshaw to the fold, this album is being described as "undoubtedly amongst the band's heaviest, darkest, and most majestic works to date, marking My Dying Bride's 25th anniversary in punishing style." Deep Purple - Two Live Albums On The Way

Deep Purple will soon release not one but two separate live albums. From The Setting Sun... (In Wacken) and ...To The Rising Sun (In Tokyo) on 2CD+DVD, DVD, Blu-ray (Tokyo performance), Blu-ray 3D (Wacken performance) and 3LP gatefold on August 28th via earMUSIC. From The Setting Sun... (In Wacken) has been filmed by nine HD cameras at Wacken Open Air festival 2013. For the first time in Deep Purple's history, the band will release a 3D version of their performance on Blu-ray, filmed at Wacken. ...To The Rising Sun (In Tokyo) has been filmed by twelve HD cameras at Nippon Budokan, Tokyo in April 2014.

Satan - New Album Title, Tracklist Revealed

British heavy metallers Satan have recently announced the release of a new album entitled Atom By Atom. The album is scheduled to drop around October 2015 via Listenable Records, it consists of 10 songs composed by the band, including a collaboration with Angel Witch's Kevin Heybourne, so look forward to it! Mastodon - Guitarist Brent Hinds Says He Hates Metal

Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds is the talk of the town at the moment. Cathedral - Unveil Early Live Video, Reissuing First Demo

While doomsters Cathedral called it a day back in 2013, they are taking us back in time. A CD/DVD reissue of 1990 cassette demo In Memorium (now spelled In Memoriam) will come out on July 10th via frontman Lee Dorrian's own Rise Above Records. The package contains a rare Cathedral live performance in Groningen from 1991, and you can get a taste of it below by watching them perform the Pentagram cover "All Your Sins."

Motörhead - Announce North American Tour

Motörhead will embark on a North American tour this summer. These North American shows start in mid-August, with Saxon, Crobot and Anthrax as special guests on select dates, before ending with the Motörboat cruise between September 28th and October 2nd from Miami, Florida to Nassau, Bahamas. Motörhead is of course touring to present their forthcoming new record, Bad Magic.
