Cara Neir - Releasing New Album

Experimental black metal duo Cara Neir's fourth full-length Perpetual Despair Is The Human Condition is now complete. You can expect a late summer/early fall release on Broken Limbs Recordings. Nate Burns made the incredible cover artwork which you can see below. Jon Rosenthal and Val of Venowl, Drew (Lonesummer), and Andy Curtis-Brignell from Caïna are the guests on the album.

Def Leppard - Vivian Campbell's Cancer Returns

Unfortunately, guitarist Vivian Campbell of Def Leppard has announced some bad news in the last few days. The guitar player will be in treatment again for cancer after announcing last year that the disease was in remission. He was first diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma back in 2013. Hopefully, he will stay strong and win this fight.

Journey - Taps Drummer For Next Shows

After Journey's drummer Deen Castronovo was arrested for assault, the band has hired a live drummer, Omar Hakim, to play drums for the band's upcoming U.S. concerts (Hollywood Bowl on June 20th and the Stadium of Fire in Provo, Utah on Saturday, July 4th), as well as the band's Canadian tour (July 6th - August 3rd), due to Deen Castronovo's pending issues.
