Slayer - Announce Final Reunion Show

Thrash metal titans Slayer announced nearly two weeks ago that they would be getting back together for at least a few shows. They have just announced that they will be following up their appearances at the Louder Than Life and Riot Fest festivals with an appearance at the Aftershock festival in Sacramento in October, and in a press statement, the band suggested that this will be their final reunion show. Stay tuned for more info on the future of Slayer.

Suicidal Tendencies - Introduce New Drummer

Following this week's news that drummer Greyson Nekrutman was joining Sepultura for their upcoming final world tour, Suicidal Tendencies confirmed on their Facebook page that Jay Weinberg (ex-Slipknot) is replacing Nekrutman as their new drummer. As previously reported, Weinberg is now also in Infectious Grooves (a side project by Suicidal Tendencies vocalist Mike Muir), who just recently tracked new material.
