As I Lay Dying - Frontman Tim Lambesis Suffers Major Burns In Accident

As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis is recovering at a Southern California hospital after sustaining burns to 25 percent of his body in a accident. The 40-year-old singer was apparently pouring gas into a bonfire when the top slipped off and the liquid ended up getting all over his clothes.

Progressive black metallers Enslaved are the focus of a 12-part television documentary made by Dag Olav Husås. It is named "Heimvegen" ("The Way Home") and is broadcast every Saturday on Norwegian television (TV Haugaland) and on YouTube. All episodes are subtitled into English.

Marrasmieli - Two New Members Join

Atmospheric black metallers Marrasmieli celebrated Finland's Independence Day yesterday and also announced the addition of two new members in their ranks. Inequity drummer Valtteri Viro will take pseudonym 'Dødkveld' and play accordion and synths, while Nightstryke lead vocalist and guitarist Rami Hermunen will play guitars under the 'Hordak' nickname.
