Kampfar - Reveal New Video
Norwegian black metal prophets Kampfar just revealed a spectacular brand new video. They are showcasing the track "Tornekratt" which comes from their Norwegian Grammy award winning album, Profan. AC/DC - Bassist Retiring After Tour
AC/DC are losing yet another member. After founding guitarist Malcolm Young left in 2014 following a dementia diagnosis, drummer Phil Rudd split due to some legal difficulties and singer Brian Johnson had to step aside this year because of a battle with hearing loss, longtime bassist Cliff Williams has now announced that he's retiring.

Chris Cornell - Singer's Alleged Stalker Arrested At Louisville Show
Chris Cornell can breathe a sigh of relief, for now. The woman who was charged with stalking the Soundgarden singer and his wife in 2014 was arrested Wednesday night (July 6th) after trying to get into his concert in Louisville, Kentucky, TMZ reports. Jessica Robbins was picked up by authorities after trying to enter the concert at the Louisville Palace. According to TMZ, all venues on Cornell's tour have been given photos of Robbins should she show up to one of the gigs. The case has now been passed on to the FBI.

Paul Di'Anno - Reportedly Battling Cancer
Back in May, former Iron Maiden singer Paul Di'Anno bowed out of a scheduled tour of Brazil while dealing with health issues. The musician had already been performing from a wheelchair while dealing with knee and hip issues, but of concern in the statement from the Brazilian promoter was discussion of Di'Anno being hospitalized and waiting for a diagnosis and recommended treatment for an undisclosed ailment. In a new interview with Chilean site HumoNegro, fellow singer and friend Blaze Bayley disclosed that Di'Anno is currently dealing with cancer.

Officium Triste - Confirmed For Inaugural Doom Over Gorinchem
Death/doom masters Officium Triste have been confirmed for the first edition of the 2-day doom metal festival Doom Over Gorinchem. They are among the first confirmed acts alongside Eye Of Solitude, Funeralium, Décembre Noir, Uur and Beyond Our Ruins. The Dutch festival will take place on February 25th and 26th next year at Stichting PoGo.

Bonfire - Vocalist Kicked Out, Michael Bormann Back
German metal veterans Bonfire just parted ways with frontman David Reece, and replaced him with former singer Michael Bormann, who is back in business. After two successful charting albums, Glorious (2015) and Pearls (2016) and over 100 shows performed, Bonfire and David Reece part ways citing the reasons as personal and professional differences. These differences are irreconcilable so both parties decide it is best to just part ways. Bonfire wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.

Primus - Drummer Suffers New Heart Attack
Primus' drummer Tim "Herb" Alexander continues to face health issues, suffering a new heart attack. Alexander survived the heart attack and revealed the news via his Instagram account. He says he is home now and doing well, but taking it easy. Back in 2014, Alexander had his first heart attack and was hospitalized. He missed part of Primus' touring. Eventually, he returned to the group's lineup to help in the support of their 2014 album, Primus & The Chocolate Factory With The Fungi Ensemble.

Pantheist - Announce New EP
Pantheïst mastermind Kostas Panagiotou has been working on a story originally meant as the basis of the concept behind the next Pantheïst album. However, the project ended up being a science fiction novel as well as an EP featuring 6 tracks involving collaborations with present and past Pantheïst members and many others. All funds generated from this EP will be used to support the recording of the band's fifth full-length album, which is to be released by early 2017.

Brian Johnson - Singer's Earliest Recordings To Be Released
Prior to joining AC/DC, singer Brian Johnson was part of a number of bands in the north east of England, the most famous being Geordie. Early recordings from AC/DC's singer Brian Johnson with The Jesper Hart Band will be released later this month. The Jesper Hart Band, a soft-rock group that performed selections from the musical "Hair", recorded the tracks "Down by the River", "I Want to Be Around" and "Overload" in the early '70s. The group was signed to Circa 2000 Records but never released anything. The master tapes were found a few years ago, and The Jesper Hart Band guitarist Ken Brown will release them independently.
