Swedish industrial death metal outfit The Project Hate MCMXCIX have been working on new material which has been penned in for a late 2012 release. Band guitarist, Kentha "Lord K." Philipson, has now issued the following update about it: "It's been a bit silence here as of late but fear not. I am working daily on our next album and it seems like I just put the final touches on the musical side of things for the new material. The past weeks I have been going back and forth within the songs and added stuff that really enhances the stuff at hand. It's been some insane work, to say the least - but now it seems like I am 99% done with the actual music. Some small things might change as we go along, but nothing major."

German power metallers Crystallion have parted ways with their keyboardist Manuel Schallinger. The band posted the following statement on their MySpace: "After almost ten years in the band, Manuel has decided to leave Crystallion for professional reasons. We wish Manuel all the best for his future projects. For the time being, the band will continue without keyboards. All gigs will be played as scheduled."
