Jimmy Bain - Former Dio/Rainbow Bassist Dies

Sad news arrive today. Former Rainbow and Dio bassist, and more recently in Last In Line, Jimmy Bain has passed away at the age of 68. He was gearing up for the launch of Last In Line's debut album later this month, and the band were taking part in Def Leppard's cruising festival in the Caribbean. Currently, the exact circumstances of his death are unknown.

Dawn Of Tears - On Hiatus

Lux Divina - Working On New Album

Spanish black metal unit Lux Divina is working on a new album. They also announced that cellist Molina Pilar from Madrid will be a guest musician on the record that follows Possessed By Telluric Feelings. While the album's mixing began in January, the band has yet to reveal more details about it.

Heavenwood - To Release New Album In February

Five years after Abyss Masterpiece, Portuguese gothic doomsters Heavenwood have finally set a release date for their awaited and delayed new album. The Tarot Of The Bohemians is their newest creation and has been in the making for the last few years. It will finally hit stores on February 22nd through Raising Legends Records (in Portugal) and their new international label. For now, the band has shared the album cover, available below.

Dee Snider - New Solo Album On The Way

Dee Snider has revealed that he will finish recording his third solo album in February. Now sees the Twisted Sister frontman performing tracks written by Grammy-winning songwriter Damon Ranger - who has previously worked with Katy Perry and Kanye West. Snider will put the finishing touches to the recordings next month.
