Their comeback record will be out on March 4th next year through Despotz Records, after ten years of silence. Manowar - New Video Released

The mighty metallers Manowar have released a video for the song "The Dawn Of Battle", recorded this past April at the Monsters Of Rock festival in São Paulo, Brazil. Check it out below. The Dawn Of Battle three-song EP was released in 2002 on the Nuclear Blast label. The EP's title track was also featured in the 2009 video game Brütal Legend. The band's upcoming Gods And Kings World Tour 2016 will kick off on January 15th, 2016 and Manowar lifted the veil on the new production.

Sinbreed - Guitarist Quits, Announce New Album

Germans Sinbreed have good and bad news to share. The bad news is that guitarist Marcus Siepen (also in Blind Guardian) has quit the band. However, the good news is that there is a new Sinbreed album coming in early 2016. The band is currently working on 10 new songs for their third album and follow-up to Shadows.

Scott Weiland - Found Dead On Tour Bus

Scott Weiland, former frontman of the U.S. rock band Stone Temple Pilots and hard rockers Velvet Revolver, has died at the age of 48. The singer's manager, Tom Vitorino, confirmed his death on Thursday night. TMZ is reporting Weiland's body was discovered on his tour bus outside a motel, near the venue where his band Scott Weiland & The Wildabouts were due to play in Minnesota. Weiland had a history of drug problems but it's unclear right now what caused his death.

Christ Agony - Tomasz Bonarowski Dies

Polish black metallers Christ Agony have recently announced that former guest keyboardist Tomasz Bonarowski (also a guest drummer on Acid Drinkers) has sadly passed away. Apart from being a keyboardist, he was also a drummer and a producer. In fact, he was the sound engineer/ co-producer of Christ Agony album's Unholyunion and Daemoonseth - Act II. He was 46. R.I.P.

The Duskfall - Change Vocalist

Swedish death metal act from Luleå, The Duskfall, has revealed that vocalist Jonatan Storm has left and will be replaced by Finnish singer Aki Häkkinen. Furthermore, they are progressing in the writing of their next album to follow Where The Tree Stands Dead. They had already announced a new bassist, Anton Lindbäck, earlier this year. This is the band's third frontman in two years.

Immortal - Comment On Band Conflict

The remaining members of Immortal have talked about the trademark case which was closed by "Patentstyret" (Norway's Patent Office) in November 2015. Guitarist/lyricist Demonaz and drummer Horgh can now share their side of the story for the first time. Former frontman Abbath Doom Occulta has formed his own project Abbath after he left the Norwegian metallers saying at the time that he attempted to secure exclusive rights to the band's name and logo because he thought Horgh and Demonaz had quit the band. Now Demonaz and Horgh claim that the conflict was due to personal problems and that Abbath ruined the band's progress.

King Diamond - Tulsa And Houston Shows Cancelled

Currently at the end of their Abigail U.S. tour, King Diamond have been forced to announce the cancellation of their Tulsa, Oklahoma show. Unfortunately, the band didn't perform yesterday because frontman King Diamond is suffering from a severe case of acute laryngitis. The last two shows of the tour are Houston and Dallas and King Diamond won't be able to perform at the House of Blues this Friday the 4th of December neither.

Utstøtt - New Member Joins

American atmospheric one man black metal act Utstøtt will stop being a solo effort. The band's mastermind Navnløs (real name Alex Rosenberg) has added his good friend Stormning to their ranks. Stormning will take over drums and guitar duties. Utstøtt is preparing a new album and the recordings will begin soon.

Officium Triste - Part Ways With Bassist

Dutch death/doom metal act Officium Triste have announced that long-time bassist Lawrence Meyer has left the band. They said that even though they "can look back at great times together, there was no future perspective, due to personal differences." They wish him all the best but part ways. Now we will have to wait to know who his replacement will be. Stay tuned.

The Slow Death - Recording New Material

Australian death/doom act The Slow Death is working on a new release, shortly after their latest record Ark was released in March 19th 2015. The band lost their vocalist Gregg Williamson one year ago but continued. Their new vocalist is Gamaliel. Now they are recording new songs with rhythm guitars and drums already finished.

Sonata Arctica - Preparing Christmas Surprise

After Sonata Arctica's singer Tony Kakko worked with Finnish supergroup Raskasta Joula on the Christmas carol "Pieni Rumpali" ("Little Drummer Boy") video, now the Finnish metallers are preparing a surprise of their own. Their new Christmas single is entitled Christmas Spirits, and is due out on December 18th via Nuclear Blast. It will be released via digital download and as a limited edition EP, only available at the Nuclear Blast Online Shop.

Helloween - Debut New Music Video

After releasing their new album, My God-Given Right, this year, German power metal act Helloween have debuted a new promotional video. While they previously released one video for the title track here, "Lost In America" is also getting the video treatment. The footage was filmed at Moscow Metal Meeting 2015, 29th August 2015, in Moscow, Russia, directed by Inna Ford. You can watch the band in action right here and in the flesh next year in Europe.
