Sister Sin - Break Up

Swedish heavy metal act Sister Sin are no more. Formed in 2002 in Göteborg (Sweden), the outfit recorded 5 albums and one EP and now broke up surprisingly. The band fronted by Liv Jagrell took a break and the lack of motivation from some of the members means the band is now over.

W.A.S.P. - 'Golgotha' Lyric Video Released

W.A.S.P. have released Golgotha recently, their brand new album and first in six years. The metallers led by Blackie Lawless have been doing a lot of touring to promote the record and now premiered a new lyric video for title track "Golgotha". Named after the hill where Jesus Christ was crucified, "Golgotha" (which means "place of the skull") continues the exploration of Biblical horror stories that W.A.S.P. employed on Babylon. As for this video, it partially shows the death of Christ from the perspective of the ones crucified with him that day.

Scorpions - Streaming Unreleased Demo Song

Scorpions have shared another demo track online. This time around, the demo is "Midnight Blues Jam" accompanied by a selection of archive photos. Before, they released a previously unreleased demo version of a song called "Running For The Plane", written and recorded during the Blackout sessions in 1982. Their 50th anniversary Deluxe Edition re-issues of 8 classic‬ records has just been released. The albums include never before heard songs, demos, artwork and much more!

Suffocation - Obliterating North America 2015 Tour Announced

New York death metal veterans Suffocation will embark on the Obliterating North America 2015 Tour later this month. The band will play the Housecore Horror Film Festival in San Antonio, Texas on November 14th and decided to add six special shows to the trek as well. The obliteration begins on November 12th in Sanford, Florida, with stops in New Orleans, Indianapolis and closing on November 18th in Toledo, Ohio.

Beseech - New Album Coming In 2016, Details Unveiled

After coming back from a hiatus, Swedish gothic metal act Beseech released a few new singles last year. It was the first taste of new material from the outfit in years. But now a new album is finally taking shape. At long last, Beseech will release a new record called My Darkness, Darkness on the 4th of March after they signed a worldwide record deal with the Swedish label Despotz Records. Overkill - To Play Two Albums In Full At Special Show

Legendary thrashers Overkill have announced a very special anniversary show at Turbinenhalle 2 in Oberhausen, Germany on April 16th, 2016. On that evening, the band will play the records Horrorscope (1991) and Feel The Fire 1985) in their entirety. As if this wasn't enough, the show will be recorded for an upcoming DVD release as well! The new band of Delain's singer Charlotte Wessels is called Phantasma (NED). She teams up with Georg Neuhauser (Serenity) and Oliver Philipps (Satyrian, etc.) and together they will release their upcoming debut record, The Deviant Hearts, this November 20th via Napalm Records. Burning Point - Release Video Clip

"Queen Of Fire" is the new video from Finnish melodic metallers Burning Point, whose current lineup includes singer Nitte Vänskä (ex-Battle Beast). The song is taken from their most recent new, self-titled album, which came out in June via AFM Records. Avantasia - More New Album Guests Announced

Avantasia continue to add new guests to the list of their new album. The German power metal band is working on a new record and have now announced that Marco Hietala will also be a guest on Ghostlights. He is known, of course, as the bassist/vocalist from Tarot and Nightwish. Furthermore, Robert Mason of Lynch Mob and Warrant fame can been confirmed to sing on the new album as well. Bucharest Nightclub Fire - 27 Dead, 180 Injured In Explosion During Metal Show (Update)

UPDATE: The Romanian prime minister Victor Ponta has announced his resignation along with his government following large protests over the nightclub fire that happened in Bucharest's Colectiv nightclub and killed more than 30 people, including metallers Goodbye To Gravity's two guitarists. The owners of the Bucharest nightclub have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and anger at the government has been growing, with many perceiving it as being corrupt, and last week's fire delivered the final blow.

Catalepsia - New Song Streaming Online

Latvian gothic doom metal band Catalepsia recently shared their new single "Damnation" which was recorded especially for the "Supernova 2016" song contest (selection of the Latvian Eurovision representative). The group formed in 2005 and went on hiatus from 2011 to 2014, led by Heaven Grey's vocalist/guitarist Erwin Franz.
