Desolate Pathway - Announce Guest For New Album

Desolate Pathway have recently announced that Kostas Salomidis, from the Greek doom metal band Sorrows Path, has recorded 2 guests guitar solos for their second album planned for early 2016. Last week, Kostas recorded the guitar solos in Athens with producer Vangelis Yalamas. Epic doom metallers Desolate Pathway were formed by ex-Pagan Altar guitarist Vince Hempstead.

Michael Monroe - New Album In October

Michael Monroe will release their new studio album, Blackout States, on October 16th 2015 via Spinefarm Records. This 13 track outing, produced by Chips Kiesbye (Hellacopters, Nomads, etc.) in Gothenburg, Sweden, and mixed by Petri Majuri in Helsinki, Finland, is the follow-up to Horns And Halos - a Finnish chart-topper in 2013.

Powerwolf - New Album Bonus CD Announced

Stryper - New Album First Details

Fallen is the title of the new album from heavy metallers Stryper. It will be released worldwide on Friday, October 23rd via Frontiers Music Srl. The album was tracked at SpiritHouse Recording Studios in Northampton, Massachusetts and will include a cover version of the Black Sabbath track "After Forever". According to Michael Sweet, it will be their best album.

The band's previous bassist Jonatan Storm was the bass player for a short time and switched to vocal duties due to vocalist Magnus Klavborn's recent departure. Borknagar - Vintersorg Recovering From Surgery

Borknagar's vocalist Vintersorg is recovering from surgery. He underwent an ear surgery recently. As you might recall, Vintersorg was injured last year in a fall resulting in fractures to the skull, brain hemorrhage, and a momentary dysfunctional hearing on one ear. Hopefully, he will be able to recover from this. It's still early to tell at this point.

German thrashers Accu§er announced that they will play in the Fall of Summer Festival (France), on September 4th, 2015. The second edition of the Fall of Summer metal festival will take place on Friday the 4th and Saturday the 5th of September 2015, in Torcy (30 km from Paris, France). Other confirmed acts include Ihsahn, Abbath, Destruction, Candlemass, Nile, Triptykon, among others.

Attomica - Vocalist Alex Rangel Dies

Brazilian thrashers Attomica have revealed that their lead singer Alex Rangel has died unexpectedly after a motorcycle accident. He succumbed to the serious injuries sustained in the accident. The band is in grief and deep pain right now. He was very young and died at age 35.
