Moonspell - New Lyric Video Online

Portuguese metallers Moonspell have released an official lyric video for the song "Medusalem". You might be familiar with the track since it is taken from the band's new album, Extinct, which was released in March via Napalm Records. The band has been promoting the record and toured recently in Europe. Next up, they will head to North America with Septicflesh and Deathstars. Iced Earth - Brent Smedley Returns, To Start Work On New Album

Iced Earth is set to begin the writing process of their 12th studio album in the spring 2015. After a short hiatus, (due to founder, chief songwriter, and guitarist Jon Schaffer's second cervical fusion surgery), the heavy metallers are planning their schedule for the remainder of the year. Iced Earth fans can expect the next album, tentatively entitled The Judas Goat, and the subsequent touring cycle to begin in early 2016, according to their latest update. Long time drummer Brent Smedley will be returning to the band for the recording and touring of the next album cycle.

Thorbjörn Englund - Guitarist To Release Solo Album

Thorbjörn "Thobbe" Englund, lead guitarist of Sweden's Sabaton, will release his second solo album filled with intense, high-quality guitar playing. Due out on May 22nd via Lion Music, From The Wilderness was composed and recorded while Englund was touring the world with Sabaton.

Jonne - Järvelä's New Band Joins Massacre Records, Album Out In July

You might know Jonne Järvelä as the guitarist/vocalist of Korpiklaani. Massacre Records have just announced the signing of Jonne, which was formed by Jonne Järvelä as a solo project which soon morphed and developed into a full band. From starting out as a solo idea, it fast grew into a real band, accompanied by 9 other musicians from the Finnish folk and metal music scene, featuring members of Amorphis, Shape Of Despair, Wabanag and Oceanwake. Jonne's self-titled album is set to be released on July 24th, 2015 via Massacre Records.

Mötley Crüe - New Tour Dates Announced

The final tour from iconic rock band Mötley Crüe will feature some more dates. In fact, the group has announced 21 more North American shows due to "overwhelming fan demand". The new shows will take place in October and December as part of the band's two-year "The Final Tour" cycle. Mötley Crüe's touring career will conclude on New Year's Eve, December 31st at Staples Center in their hometown of Los Angeles where the band began 34 years ago.

Unisonic - Tap Tobias Exxel For Brazilian Festival

Unisonic has recruited Edguy bassist Tobias Exxel for their performance at the Monsters of Rock festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Exxel will replace guitarist Mandy Meyer during Unisonic's performance at the Monsters of Rock festival on April 26th. Meyer has to sit out the band's festival performance due to a prior commitment for a U.S. tour with Swiss rockers Krokus.

Neglected Fields - Announce Reunion Shows

Latvian technical death metallers Neglected Fields started their band back in 1995 and were recently on a hiatus from 2011 to 2014. Now they have announced a few shows and are confirmed for two festivals in the summer: Kilkim ?aibu 2015 and Hard Rock Laager 2015 . Their first reunion show is going to take place today in their hometown of Riga.
