S.D.I. - Announce Tour Dates

Speed metallers S.D.I. have recently announced a short tour that includes stops in Slovakia, Italy, Hungary, Bulgary, Czech Republic and more. The long-running German metallers will play in Ko?ice (Slovakia) for the first time on the 23rd of October 2015. Furthermore, they are playing a reunion show on September 5th in Osnabrück, Germany as well.

Darkology - New Song Streaming Online

There is new music from Darkology to be enjoyed now! The American metallers will release their second album, Fated To Burn, between June 8th and June 15th through Prime Eon Media and its partners worldwide on CD and digital formats. Multiple special package configurations will be made exclusively available through the band's webstore and a vinyl release may follow later in the year. The album artwork and the new lyric video for the song "On Morrow's Break" can be viewed below.

Criminal - Line-Up Changes, Working On New Album

Criminal have recently announced a new lead guitarist and they are also working on a new album to follow Akelarre. The Anglo-Chilean thrashers have parted ways with Basque lead guitarist Olmo Cascallar. Now joining their ranks is Chilean shredmaster Sergio Klein, who resides in Berlin, Germany. Klein has already gained recognition as a lead player with his band The Outside and is also a guitar instructor. With him, Criminal have already started working on the material for a new album for a late 2015 release.

Panopticon - Austin L. Lunn Launches New Record Label

American atmospheric black metal band Panopticon main man Austin L. Lunn has some news to share. He has started a small record label with his brother-in-law to release vinyl reissues of albums they love. This label is not for profit and every cent made goes back into releasing more albums by underground bands. You can get to know the label Lost Forty Recordings here. They already have three releases in the pipeline.

Seven Witches - New Album Nearing Completion

Seven Witches is putting the finishing touches on the follow-up to 2013's Rebirth album, tentatively titled The Way Of The Wicked. The new record by the heavy metal band is being mixed by Joey Vera (Fates Warning, Armored Saint) and will be distributed by ILS/Caroline in the U.S. All you can do now is wait to hear the final product.

David Shankle Group - New Album On The Way

Known for being a member of Manowar between 1988 and 1994, guitarist David Shankle is about to release the upcoming third full-length offering by his band, David Shankle Group. Titled Still A Warrior, it is due on April 24th in Germany and April 28th in the rest of the world via Pure Steel Records. Joining Shankle in DSG are vocalist Warren Halvarson, bassist Mike Streicher, and drummer Gabriel Anthony. Meanwhile, you can already listen to a new song below to get started!

California's Armored Saint are set to release their seventh studio album this summer. The album details have now all been revealed and it is titled Win Hands Down. The album is scheduled for release on June 2nd in North America, with release dates for June 1st in Europe/UK, and May 29th in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Burning Point - New Label, To Release New Album

Finnish power metallers Burning Point have signed with AFM Records. Being an active part of the European power metal scene for the last 15 years, the band around mastermind/guitarist Pete Ahonen has added former Battle Beast vocalist Nitte Valo to the group's ranks in 2014 and is set to release their new album soon. Exact details are still under wraps for now. Meanwhile, a first song snippet (re-recorded 2015 version of the band's track "All The Madness") is available for streaming here below.

Black Sabbath - Farewell Show At Ozzfest Japan Canceled

It turns out Black Sabbath's Japanese "farewell" performance at this year's Ozzfest Japan has been canceled. Also, no explanation was given for this. However, festival attendees will still get Ozzy Osbourne, he will perform with his solo act plus some special friends. The Black Sabbath farewell show caused some confusion among fans and the media, unsure if the performance was their final show in Japan or the band's final show.

Iron Void - New Album Recordings Completed

Iron Void recently announced that the band has completed the recording and mixing of Doomsday, their new album. They also thank Chris Fielding at Skyhammer Studio for a fantastic job recording, producing and mixing the album and to Jon Paul Davis for the accommodation and hospitality. The next stage is to master the album and complete the artwork. The West Yorkshire doom trio plans to have the album released on CD via Doomanoid Records by late summer 2015 at the latest.
