Heavy metal trio Raven will release their new album, ExtermiNation, in Scandinavia on April 22nd, in Germany on April 24th, in the rest of Europe on April 27th and in North America on April 28th via SPV/Steamhammer. The effort will be made available as a digipak version (including one bonus track), 2LP gatefold green vinyl version and as a digital download. You might remember that Colorado metallers Jag Panzer disbanded back in 2011. However, the group will enter the studio next weekend to record vocals for a new song, featuring the band's original singer Harry "The Tyrant" Conklin. Writing on his Facebook page yesterday (March 15th), Jag Panzer guitarist Mark Briody said: "Studio booked next weekend for vocal tracks for new Jag Panzer song. This song came out really good, and Harry's got some killer vocals lines for it."

"Hope In Hell" is the new video from Canadian metal legends Anvil, and can now be seen below. The clip was again created by Swedish director Rene U Valdes of Greenworks Productions. The song is of course taken from the album of the same name, the latest record released by Anvil in 2013. The heavy metal unit will embark on another European festival tour this summer with more dates to be added soon.

Jack Starr's Burning Starr, the American power metal act founded in 1984 by ex-Virgin Steele guitarist Jack Starr, has commenced the pre-production process for their new studio album, titled Stand Your Ground, and scheduled for recording during spring and summer of 2015. Some of the new song titles are: "Stronger Than Steel", "In Another Time (From Ashes We Rise)", "Stand Your Ground" or "To The Ends Of The Earth". Stand Your Ground is a loosely based concept album, about the problems facing America and the world, and the belief that many people have, that we are heading into an era of strife and conflict.
