Krokus - Announce U.S. Dates

Now, for the first time in over two decades, Krokus is returning to U.S. shores. On April 18th, the Swiss rockers board the MSC Divina for the Monsters Of Rock Cruise with a cast of seminal rock and metal acts, including Tesla, Europe, Night Ranger, Extreme, KIX, and Queensrÿche. Following the cruise, the tour continues through a series of U.S. cities, leading to the legendary Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles, CA on May 6th.

Soundgarden - New Album Coming In 2016

Guitarist Kim Thayil of Soundgarden has told The Sydney Morning Herald that the band plans to make a new album in the next few months for a 2016 release. You Can't Use My Name: Curtis Knight & The Squires (Featuring Jimi Hendrix) - The RSVP/PPX Sessions includes 14 songs from the guitar hero's days as a session musician. This release will come out on March 24th via Experience Hendrix L.L.C. and Legacy Recordings. More of Hendrix's early recordings are promised after this first collection debuts.

Yngwie Malmsteen - Former Keyboardist Mats Olausson Found Dead

Swedish keyboardist Mats Johan Olausson (Yngwie Malmsteen, Ark, Iron Mask) was found dead inside a hotel room in downtown Rayong, Thailand on Thursday afternoon (February 19th), according to Chaingrai Times and Bangkok Post. He was 54 years old and also played with Kamelot. R.I.P.

Tank - Reveal First Details About New Album

British heavy metal crusaders Tank recently extended their record deal with Metal Mind Productions, the label that re-released the band's back catalogue and issued their recent albums War Machine (2010) and War Nation (2012). Now, the recording is underway for the new Tank studio album scheduled for release in Europe on June 8th and in the US on June 9th. Titled Valley Of Tears, this will be the first album to feature the vocals of former DragonForce frontman ZP "Zippy" Theart.
