Winger - New Videos Online

After five years, American hard rockers Winger are preparing the release of their new album Better Days Comin' on April 18th in Europe and April 22nd in North America via Frontiers Records. Necrodeath - New Album Trailer And Details Released

Legendary Italian black thrashers Necrodeath have released a video trailer for their new album, which will be called The 7 Deadly Sins, and is due out on May 13th via Scarlet Records. The 7 Deadly Sins follows the single-track album Idiosyncrasy, "delivering 7 fast and brutal songs centering around the 7 sins. For the first time ever, the band used their Italian mother tongue to write most of the lyrics, as well as English and Latin, giving a different edge to the music itself."

The Gates Of Slumber - Former Bassist Jason McCash Dies

Sad news come from the The Gates Of Slumber camp today. Their former bassist Jason McCash has died last night. The doom metallers called it quits last year after Jason McCash decided to leave the band. Karl Simon said that the band couldn't go on without him and disbanded the group.

Trees Of Eternity - Studio Update

The gothic metallers Trees Of Eternity seem to be approaching the completion of their debut album. With a few recordings still to be done, the band hopes the final mixing will happen in May. After their 2009 demo Trees Of Eternity, guitarist Juha Raivio's project with singer Aleah is ready to unleash new material.

Exciter - Split With Bassist

After guitarist John Ricci stepped down, Exciter's bassist Robert "Clammy" Cohen has now also left the group. According to Exciter, the band will not disband but will take some time off and think about the future. Right now, only drummer Richard "Rik" Charron and singer Kenny "MetalMouth" Winter remain in the band.

Avatarium - Leif Edling To Sit Out Performance At Roadburn

Swedish doomsters Avatarium have announced that the band's mastermind bassist Leif Edling will not be able to perform with the band at the Roadburn Festival 2014 due to his health condition. Due to health problems, Leif Edling already sit out the band's gig in Umeå, Sweden, at the House of Metal Festival. He was replaced by bassist Anders Iwers from Tiamat and the same will happen at Roadburn. The band performs on April 13th at the fest.

Guns N' Roses - Duff McKagan Returning For S. American Shows

Ex-bassist of Guns N' Roses Duff McKagan has confirmed that he will be filling in for the band's current bassist, Tommy Stinson, during the group's South American tour. Stinson is scheduled to reunite with his original band, The Replacements, for two dates at Coachella in mid-April and is unable to make the Guns N' Roses shows. McKagan will join the group in Argentina for the April 6th concert, then play Paraguay (April 9th), Bolivia (April 12th) and two cities in Brazil ? Recife (April 15th) and Fortaleza (April 17th).

Ostrogoth - Bassist Leaves The Band

Belgian old school heavy metal act Ostrogoth announced that the co-founder and bassist Marnix "Bronco" Van de Kauter decided to leave the band. The heavy touring schedule for 2014/2015 - which will only increase with a new album scheduled for release in January 2015 - are causing a conflict with Bronco's personal life.

Earache Records - Sues Century Media

Last year, metal labels Earache Records and Century Media Records announced a three-year deal where Century Media would handle all of Earache's physical product distribution in the US but it looks like things aren't going very well. According to the Courthouse News Service, the British metal label Earache Records has filed a lawsuit against New York-based The Century Family, an affiliate of the nonparty record label Century Media Records, claiming that the U.S. distributor owes it $250,000 in licensing fees, and broke a promise to release a catalog of hundreds of albums.

Doro - Led Zeppelin Cover Online

For her 30 years stage jubilee, Doro will celebrate with fans and two separate yet unique shows on May 2nd: the Classic Night with Orchestra, and May 3rd: Rock Night - both with many guests, at CCD Stadthalle of her hometown of Düsseldorf. Just in time for the celebration, there will be an anniversary record of the rock queen. Almah - Former Guitarist Paulo Schroeber Dies

Another great musician leaves us. Almah has posted a message on their website revealing that their former guitarist Paulo Schroeber has passed away. He was in the band for four years and participated in two albums with Almah. Schroeber was only 40 years-old and was waiting for a heart transplant.

Officium Triste - Line-Up Change Announced

Dutch death/doom metallers Officium Triste have announced that guitarist Bram Bijlhout has stepped down from the group and he is being replaced permanently by long time band friend William van Dijk (ex-Whispering Gallery). He has already performed live with the band a few times.
