Chaos Moon - New Song Streaming Online

I, Voidhanger Records has announced the signing of US underground black metallers, the revived Chaos Moon. After a couple of EPs and two albums released in 2007 (Origin Of Apparition and Languor Into Echoes, Beyond), in 2011 singer/guitarist Alex Poole decided to put Chaos Moon to sleep forever. Later he joined Krieg and gave birth to Esoterica and Lithotome. Then in 2013 Poole realized it was time to wake his oldest creature up. Start off your Sunday with atmospheric black metal by listening to the new song "Bloodfall" here from the upcoming album.

Death Penalty - Garry "Gaz" Jennings' New Project

Death Penalty, the new band formed by Cathedral guitarist Garry "Gaz" Jennings, featuring Belgian female vocalist Michelle Nocon (ex-Serpentcult) and guests, has inked a deal with Rise Above Records. This is Gaz's first serious venture following the mournful demise of the U.K.'s doom metal giants with their final album The Last Spire (via Rise Above), earlier in 2013. He has been working on songs for his new project for some time and had the idea of a strong female vocalist, which led him to Michelle and the pair have been working together since the summer. Death Penalty are also confirmed for an exclusive debut appearance at Rise Above Records 25th anniversary shows.

Clutch - To Release Double Vinyl Picture Disc

Rockers Clutch have set a November 26th release date for Earth Rocker Live via Weathermaker Music. Earth Rocker Live is a double vinyl picture disc set. The first LP is the studio version of Earth Rocker. The second LP consists of live versions of the same tracks in the same sequence as the original. It is not a live recording of one show.

Black Veil Brides - New Lyric Video Online

The official lyric video for the song "Unbroken" from American group Black Veil Brides has recently been unveiled and can now be seen below. The clip was made using fan submitted photos. The track itself is taken from the soundtrack for the last Avengers Assemble soundtrack and has been released to raise awareness for anti-bullying campaigns in the US.

Xandria - Singer Leaves, Find Replacement

Symphonic metal band Xandria has changed vocalist once again. The five piece is presenting the Dutch talent Dianne van Giersbergen as their new singer. The former singer for three years Manuela Kraller decided to leave the band "to follow other musical challenges".

Candlemass - Performing Entire 'Ancient Dreams' Album In Sweden

Legendary Swedish doom metallers Candlemass will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their third album Ancient Dreams with a special live concert on December 28th at Debaser Medis in Stockholm, Sweden. The album which was originally released in 1988 has been hailed as a classic and will be performed in its entirety by Candlemass.

Andi Deris And Bad Bankers - New Song Online

Helloween's frontman Andi Deris has recently launched a new project called Andi Deris And The Bad Bankers. Andi Deris returns with his first solo album since 1999. Not so much a solo effort in its original sense but recorded in a band environment to achieve a real band feeling. The album Million Dollar Haircuts On Ten Cent Heads will be released on November 22nd via earMUSIC. The first song "Don't Listen To The Radio" can be streamed in the YouTube clip here.

Disbelief - Reveal New Line-Up, Working On New Album

Back in July 2013, German death metallers Disbelief announced the departure of guitarist Wolfgang Rothbauer due to "organizational reasons". Now the group has revealed their new line-up. Drumster (Gorilla Monsoon) is Disbelief's new drummer and David "Dave" Renner (Painful) completes the line-up as the new guitarist. Moreover, the group also has more good news to share because they are already working on a new studio album with the working title of Full Of Terrors.

Deivos - New Record Label, New Album In 2014

Polish death metal band Deivos has signed a deal with Selfmadegod Records for the upcoming release of their fourth full-length album. The band is currently hard at work writing new material to be recorded early in the new year at Zed Studio (Black River, Rootwater, Frontside), with the album tentatively slated for release in mid-2014. Their latest output had been Demiurge Of The Void from 2011.

Lîvi - Former Singer Aivars Brîze Passes Away

One of Latvian rock legends Aivars Brīze has passed away. He was the vocalist of Latvian hard rock bands Neptūns (1982?1985), Lîvi (1985?1997) and Leģions (2008). He died in a hospital in Gdyna (Poland) where a cold caused complications, and the musician died of pneumonia.

Lay Down Rotten - New Album On The Way

Death metal force Lay Down Rotten has announced the first details about their new album. After releasing albums like Breeding Insanity, Gospel Of The Wretched and 2012's Mask Of Malice, now it is time for the first sign of life from the band via their new label-home Apostasy Records. Deathspell Catharsis is the name of their new output which was once again produced by the band's confidant Thilo Krieger in his Desert Inn Studio.
