DARK MOOR will enter New Sin Studios in Venice, Italy in September with producer Luigi Stefanini to begin recording their new album, tentatively due in early 2007. Prior to tracking at New Sin, DARK MOOR will record the choir parts for the upcoming CD at a Madrid studio beginning mid-August. For the occasion, DARK MOOR will utilize a professional choir composed for two tenors, two sopranos, two altos and two bassos.

The as-yet-untitled album will also include a guest appearance by the Dutch singer Manda Ophuis of the band NEMESEA.

Formed in 2002 by singer Dearborn, DSA was a meticulous formation that was birthed before any additional members even joined the band. FRONTSIDE is Europe's answer to bands like Bleeding Through and Killswitch Engage! This cought the interest of Timo Kotipelto of STRATOVARIUS fame. He enjoyed the fresh and original appearance of the music and offered to release the album "Reality" through his own label High and Loud.
"This was the first band that really impressed me so much that I wanted to sign it to my label", says Timo. "We are really happy to work with Timo. Hes a good friend and that makes our cooperation very comfortable", smiles Mikko.

- REDKEY
A new star's up on the firmament of Power Metal: REDKEY are hailing from the town in Germany where VW started to run around the globe, and the members of REDKEY are also long-distance runners: Former HEAVEN's GATE singer Thomas Rettke and guitar player Sascha Paeth didn't play together for 15 years. Till now! Now they're back. Back with a new outfit called REDKEY and the new album "Rage Of Fire", out in September. But REDKEY isn't a simple succession of HEAVEN'S GATE, it's a new step: This is NWoBHM translated to the 21st century, mainly influenced by mighty Judas Priest plus the sound of US-metal in the likes of Racer X or Vicious Rumours.

Death and damnation! With the Austrian Death Metallers BELPHEGOR, Nuclear Blast signed one of the most extreme Metal bands of our time. Vocalist / guitarist Helmuth is more than happy:

"Deeply confused and sad, we have to inform you, that Sabine isn't among us anymore!

While the bands rehearsal on Friday the 7.7.06, Sabine suffered a cerebral haemorrhage on which she died a day later at the hospital!

On regard to the family and friends, we have decided to take the homepage from the net.

McQueen have signed a Worldwide deal with Demolition records to release their hotly anticipated debut album "Break the Silence" later this summer. SHY vocalist Tony Mills has issued the following statement: "Having been in discussions with the members of TNT in Norway over the last few weeks, I have decided to take the band up on an offer to front them throughout their forthcoming work in Europe. This may well include co-writing a new album for the band and touring in both Norway and the UK later in the year. Obviously, it's all new to everyone and we have to see how we work together, but the initial meeting in Berlin was very amiable and I think you could safely say that we 'hit it off' real well. I have to master The Andersson Mills Project and finish up some writing with Eric Ragno / Michael Riesenbeck and the China Blue project before I depart for Norway mid June. Shy are supporting TNT at the Polar Festival on June 30 in Storsteinnes, Norway. This in itself is an unbelievable coincidence, but my priority was to sing this concert with Shy as I was already contracted to do so before any conversations took place with TNT.
This concert for TNT will be fronted by the ex-vocalist Tony Harnell as a farewell show for him."

Diesel Dahl: TNT are still alive and kickin' - and are proud to introduce the new man behind the mic; Singer Tony Mills from Birmingham, England. Tony is one of Europe's most respected hard rock singers, mostly known for his work with UK Melodic Rock act Shy and his solo artiste releases of recent years. Tony has worked along side such names as Cinderella, Dokken, Cozy Powell, Meatloaf, The Sweet and many more and will add a new and exciting dimension to TNT as the band enter a new era.

Ron Thal will be the lead guitarist of the Guns N' Roses during their upcoming Summer tour!

Guitar shredder Ron Thal of the New York City-based alternative-metal project BUMBLEFOOT has joined GUNS N' ROSES as the replacement for Buckethead.

Thal is making his live debut with Axl Rose and company Friday night (May 12) at the opening night of a four-date stint at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.

Reido, new Doom Metal band from Belarus.

The first release of a young and creative band from Minsk (Belarus). Original and extraordinary funeral doom. A listener is being hunted by its darkness within the distance between the first and the last note, as it truly creates the horror of the Apocalypse. Both sludge and dark-ambient influences can be found there. Reido's music has no analogies neither in the band's native country nor in Russia, and it can easily compete with the leading standards of the West dark scene. "F\:all" has been released on a "gold" CD and includes a video clip of the main song on the album.
