Metal Mind Productions is very proud to announce that on 29th of May 2006 the label will release a new Anathema DVD - "A Moment in Time".

The main part of DVD was recorded in Poland at the famous Metal Mania Festival 2006 (the biggest hard rock/metal festival in Eastern Europe). The set list included their best songs plus a cover of Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb". The guest performance was done by a string quartet. Bonus material - live video footage, video clips, documentary. DVD will be available also in a limited edition with bonus audio
CD.

The artwork to "A Moment In Time" DVD was done by Travis Smith famous for his artworks for Anathema, Skinlab, Nevermore, Devin Townsend, Riverside and others.

Anathema has a cult status on the world's rock music scene. Coming out of underground metal scene they easily transformed in to the best alternative rock outfit. Every day brings them new followers around the world. Friday, 29th April is their last day of very succesful UK & Ireland tour supporting HIM. The best is yet to come for Anathema.

Finland's eurovision song contest participant Lordi's performance jeopardized because of outrageous pyrotechnics bill - Tuska Open Air Metal Festival to the rescue

Scandinavia's premier metal festival, Tuska Open Air Metal Festival taking place in Kaisaniemi, Helsinki, Finland, during 30.6.-2.7. has decided to take action in assisting Finland's controversial Eurovision song contest participant, Lordi, with unrealistic pyrotechnics expenses.

Although Lordi representing Finland in the Eurovision song contest raised very blunt opinions from the start, things took a serious turn for the worse when Finnish National Radio received a cost estimate for the pyrotechnics required in Lordi's show. The German company who has the exclusive right in providing the special effects for the contest, presented the Finns with an estimate which is in no way compatible with the tariffs of past years, the final amount climbing to tens of thousands of Euros. Currently the Finnish National Radio (YLE) is pondering the option of pulling out of the contest altogether.

Tuska-Festival is no stranger when it comes to struggling with tariffs, therefore Tuska-organization is deeply concerned with the current situation. Pyrotechnics are a vital part of Lordi's show and performing without them makes no sense.

Tuska-Festival promoter Jouni Markkanen pointed out that if public funds aren't sufficient to put on a proper show, let's get the money elsewhere. Therefore Tuska-Festival will pay the first 5000 Euros of the pyrotechnic costs.

This is also intended as a challenge for others working within the music industry to do their share. Even smaller amounts help.

Tuska-Festival is Scandinavia's premier metal festival. This festival takes place right in the center of Helsinki, 2006 edition being the ninth consecutive annual Tuska-Festival. This year's line-up features the likes of Venom, Celtic Frost and Sonata Arctica along with 28 other metal artists. Lordi appeared at Tuska in 2003.

Angtoria to record video for title track "God Has A Plan For Us All"

Angtoria will soon start filming their first music video as a part of the
worldwide promotion for their album due to be released on Listenable Records
April 27th.
The video will be filmed during 3 days at two different locations, and
director of the video is an upcoming and very talented swedish director who
has previously won awards for his work, Måns Berthas.
On April 19th Sarah, Dave Pybus (CoF) and Toni Davey (Dani's wife and album
cover model), will fly to Sweden to join Chris and Tommy and a yet to be
revealed drummer to shoot the video for the title track "God Has A Plan For
Us All".

The song is based around child abuse by a religious person, which in turn
leads the girl to madness because of years of mental torture through the
offender getting away with what he has done to her. Putting images to lyrics
like these is quite difficult without getting banned by every tv station,
but we will sure try to portray the lyrics in images as much as possible.
Chris´s young daughter Saga will play the child and Toni will obviously play
the girl as older. This is to show the deterioration from start to finish of
the girls life.

Grand prize winner's song eligible for inclusion in both the movie and soundtrack.

New York, NY - April 5, 2006 - Starting April 6th, unsigned artists will have a shot at their big break by submitting their music for an online contest on the leading social networking and lifestyle portal, MySpace.com. The winning band's song will be eligible for inclusion in the movie and on the soundtrack to John Tucker Must Die. The grand prize winner will be chosen on May 26th by a panel of celebrity judges and music executives. Wind-up Records will award a $10,000 production budget to the winner for professional re-recording, mixing, and mastering of the winning song. The ten finalists will each win a Gibson electric guitar.

In 20th Century Fox's John Tucker Must Die three popular girls from different cliques discover they've all been dating the same school stud when they decide not to get mad but to get even! From April 6th until April 24th, unsigned bands can submit songs for consideration. From these initial submissions, 20 semi-finalists will be chosen by members of the MySpace staff. On May 1st, those 20 bands will rely on the support of their own fan bases, or MySpace 'friends,' to determine the top 10 finalists who will be selected on May 19th. The grand prize winner will be determined by the following panel of judges and announced on May 26th:

INBORN SUFFERING

We are proud for have signed Inborn Suffering, this young and talented French band. They play a melodic and dark Doom Metal in the vein of the gods of the English Doom Metal. Their full-length album titled "Wordless Hope" features one hour of very well inspired orchestration in pure melancholy. It is full of beauty, sadness and sorrow where such fantastic symphonies can to be compared with classic albums like Anathema's "The Silent Enigma" and My Dying Bride's "Turn Loose the Swans". There is utterly mournful string arrangements wind around the slow Doom metal as well as some passages of violin, piano and female vocals were added perfectly. Of course, the vocals are deep and expressive grunts but sometimes spoken and sometimes-screamed vocals. This is wonderful masterpiece of Doom Metal like the former days. After some personal problems during the last months we unfortunately had no other choice to make
this very hard decision. We regret much that it had come so far, but under these conditions we saw no more future for BURDEN OF GRIEF. We wish both all the best !!!

But we are pleased to be able to present you our new line-up. New guitar-player will be Johannes 'Joe' Rudolph (from GUTLOCK) and new bass-player will be Florian Bauer (from TWILIGHT PROPHECIES). "The hassle with the media seems to have died. We've been off tour for some months and we've had a nice and long vacation. It's time to get back to business."

"Nightwish is currently and actively looking for a new singer/frontwoman for the band. We need the obvious things: Looks, charisma, courage, and, of course, a big voice. Good grasp of the English language is also very helpful. We don't necessarily need a classically trained vocalist like Tarja Turunen (the former vocalist). We welcome all kinds of styles and voices, natural and trained, from rock and pop to classical, and all that you can find in between. You should however be prepared to sing with a lot of dynamics and versatility. From loud and high to very sensitive stuff."
