Be'lakor - Announce European Live Dates

Having released two critically acclaimed albums in The Frail Tide (2007) and Stone's Reach (2009), Australia's Be'lakor is, at long last, making their way to Europe. The band has announced five dates in late August, kicking off with a performance at the Summer Breeze Festival in Germany and taking in dates in Portugal and England.

The band comments: "We are very excited to be playing these dates in Germany, Portugal and England. It's been a long time coming, and after some recent setbacks with the cancellation of dates, we have relied on our fans in Europe to help us in finding these shows. We owe a great gratitude to everyone who e-mailed us suggesting venues and contacts. Whilst we obviously couldn't make it to every country in the short space of time that we have on this tour, we hope that some of the fans in other countries who have been waiting to see us will also be able to make it to one of these shows."

21.08.10 - Germany, Dinkelsbühl - Summer Breeze Festival
22.08.10 - Portugal, Porto - MetalPoint Club
27.08.10 - Portugal, Lisbon (Benavente) - Side B Lounge Live Club
28.08.10 - England, London - Venue TBA
30.08.10 - England, Exeter - The Cavern

Why don't they do a normal eu tour?

I was wondering the same, but I guess will have to wait for some time.

They were originally supposed to support the Dallas death metal band Devourment on their European tour, but were eventually dropped because of communication problems at a very late notice (in other words, the Devourment booking agent sucks!). They were in quite of a hurry to find some replacement shows. Let's hope they can do something more extensive in the future.
