Just listened to the album, Its awesome, Im definitely getting this. It remind me of a Heavier and more straightforward (not too straightforward mind) version of Leviathan.

In one day, i'd heard the album 4 times! This album is a big masterpiece, i absolutely rate it 10 without no choises left! I've said it!

Wow! Listening to it as I write this. Pretty brilliant work! Funny thing is, I remember dicovering Mastodon from an interview in a porn magazine. haha

Maybe it will be mastodon who brings metal back into the spotlight.....dunno if thats a good thing or not....

A bit better than Crack The Skye, more coherent but still nowehere near the sheer majesty of Remission and to a lesser extent Leviathan. Once again that sludge light sound, which is once again totally biteless. Shame.

Played twice and love it - especially 2nd half

I never really liked Crack the Skye, so this is the stuff for me
