Subsignal - Part Ways With Drummer, Replacement Announced
German progressive metal band Subsignal has checked in with the following announcement about parting ways with drummer Roel van Helden: "Subsignal and drummer Roel van Helden have parted company on cordial terms. Roel intends to focus on his activities with Powerwolf and cannot pursue his job with Subsignal anymore."
"His replacement is Danilo Batdorf who is known for his work with German prog band Dreamscape. Danilo has already successfully played the last leg of Subsignal's European tour in April/May."
"At the moment, Subsignal and Danilo are working on the follow up album to the critically acclaimed CD Touchstones which will be due sometime in 2013. Furthermore, Subsignal will play some more live shows in Winter 2012."
