What are those choices anyway ? Yeah they're big bands but i mean...

Iron Maiden being nominated for a live performance on a DVD ? I love Maiden don't take me wrong, but there's so many choices to sink your teeth in in 2012. And Marylin Manson ? Don't make me laugh, this guy has been bad for the last 10 years, it's not going to change any time soon.

Whatever, fans choice. Also metal dudes don't watch the grammys

Yeah the surround sound category isn't hard rock/metal though, was nominated for a different award.

aha I see, didn't know that. The Grammy's have way too many categories (just like the Academy Awards) but is actually a total US music industry circle jerk. So not to be taken seriously AT ALL.

Tries to cover to much ground I definitely agree. Fails to really capture the truly great music from some genres, most especially when it comes to hard rock/metal.
