You might have heard of White Empress before. Is it the new band of former Cradle Of Filth guitarist Paul Allender as well as members of Coal Chamber and Luna Mortis. Well, they have released a new song from their debut album Rise Of The Empress. The symphonic metal band is currently streaming the track "A Prisoner Unleashed". Said guitarist and founder Paul Allender: "For the track 'A Prisoner Unleashed' I had an idea to start a track with vocals only and to come into the track with a heavy groove and punch. This track is awesome because of the various groove changes and the way everything sits together within the arrangement and the rest of the tracks on the album. A real headbanger for the real metalhead!"

The band has also posted an introduction video. White Empress features vocalist Mary Zimmer from Luna Mortis, Will Graney, keyboardist from Damnation Angels, Chela Harper, bass player for Coal Chamber, guitarist Jeremy Kohnmann from The Awakening, and drummer Zac Morris, who's played with many bands including Ugly Kid Joe.
