Krisiun - In The Studio, New Album Update

The Brazilian brutal death metal machine Krisiun have entered Mana Recording in Saint Petersburg, Florida to begin recording their new album. The production on the album is being handled by Erik Rutan, who has previously worked with such bands as Cannibal Corpse, Nile, Six Feet Under, Hate Eternal, and others. He also produced Krisiun's Conquerors Of Armageddon album back in 1999. The successor of The Great Execution should arrive this year.

Krisiun will be performing in a few European festival this summer including Brutal Assault, Rockstadt Extreme Fest and Motocultor Festival Open Air.

If AssassiNation, Southern Storm and The Great Execution is generic death to you, you need to redefine your definition of it. The last few records are definitely the best things Krisiun have done since evolving from their mediocre first couple of albums.

I haven't listened to the latest, but if this upcoming release ends up being like AssassiNation, it's going to be my #1 death metal album of 2015.
