With the departure of founding guitarist Richard "Wildeþrýð" Brass earlier this year, UK's epic pagan metallers Wodensthrone have decided that after a decade as a band they're calling it a day. Wodensthrone released their final full-length, Curse, back in 2012.

About the disbanding, Wodensthrone states: "We regret to announce that after ten years of activity, Wodensthrone is no more, following the amicable departure of founding guitarist Wildeþrýð. We simply cannot carry on without such an integral member missing from the lineup.

We would like to thank all of our supporters, all the bands we have shared the stage with, and all those who have helped make Wodensthrone's existence such an incredible experience during these years; we will take our memories to the grave."
