Gorguts - Tour Bus Window Smashed In Manchester
Currently touring in Europe, Canadian technical death metallers Gorguts became victims of vandalism when a man smashed through their tour bus window with his bare hand. The incident took place on March 29th at 12:35 a.m. when the band's tour bus was parked outside the Sound Control venue on New Wakefield Street in Manchester, England, according to Manchester Evening News. In closed-circuit TV footage released by the police, which can be seen below, the man is seen walking up alongside the Gorguts vehicle. For no apparent reason, he punches the glass window.
The band's booking agency Avocado is appealing for information about the identity of the person responsible for the act of vandalism.
Due to the smashed window, Gorguts were forced to cancel their performance in Glasgow the following night, but resumed the tour the day after with a show in London.
